Scott Erickson has known death on all its spectrum—from the death of a dream to the death of a friend—and, as COVID-19's reached our shore, death's demanded a seat at his table once again.
Last spring, Scott and his family packed up their home to move from the Portland area to Austin, TX, only to find themselves in the middle of a worldwide pandemic. All the expectations that come with moving were stripped away, leaving them to grieve what could have been as death swept through our world. In this episode, Scott and Katie discuss how death has played a part in his art and life, how the Church handles grief, and how having a conversation with death now can teach us to live the life we hope for.
