Choosing to lose someone or something (like a career, partnership, etc) is one of the hardest things anyone can do. And also one of the most lonely journeys. After listening to Shutter Island by Jesse Reyez, I realize.... my story of choosing to lose someone shaped the rest of my life and shaped how I 'Pull Myself Up By the Bra Straps'. So THIS is the real beginning of the podcast.
