  • Matthew 6: Controlled by The Bag
    Mar 19 2026
Pastor Jon continues our “Secure the Bag” series with a powerful reminder: the real question isn’t what do I have? it’s what has my heart? God is intimately concerned with our well-being. He cares deeply about what’s shaping our lives. In Matthew 6, Jesus teaches that wherever our treasure is, our heart will follow. Our heart is our capacity to love and grow, so if our treasure is placed in things that can fade, be stolen, or destroyed, our hearts become vulnerable too. What we fix our eyes on shapes everything. Our priorities, our decisions, and our direction all follow. And Jesus is clear. We can’t serve two masters. It’s not about balance, it’s about who truly leads our lives. “God, free me from anything trying to take Your place by having control over me.” 🤍 Each week, Paradigm sermons are posted on YouTube, Spotify, Amazon Music, and Pocket Casts! 📱 https://www.bible.com/events/49580401 Paradigm is a weekly gathering of Kansas City college and 20s-30s young adults who desire to see Jesus made known throughout the city! • Psalm 24 and Matthew 25: Secure the Bag
    Mar 12 2026
Culture tells us to “secure the bag,” but Scripture invites us to see our possessions differently. Whose bag is it really? Last night’s message gave us a new perspective and a bigger invitation for this topic. In Psalm 24, we see that David understood that God owns it all, and that he has entrusted us to be stewards of the things He has given us in this life. One day we will give an account for how we have stewarded our possessions. Jesus wants us to invest in the things that matter most. Success = faithful stewardship, in the kingdom of God. A faithful steward sees money as a tool, a test, and a testimony. This week: Ask God to make you a steward, and be mindful if how you do reflects your walk with the Lord. Have a great week, Paradigm! • Freedom: Living The Way God Calls Us To
    Mar 5 2026
In this message, we had the privilege of hearing from Ken and Carrie Liles who were missionaries that served in Iran. They shared their experiences and encouraged us on how to live faithfully in a world filled with uncertainty. 🌍 One thing they reminded us of: freedom isn’t simply doing what we want, it’s living the way God calls us to live. Even in places where the gospel faces opposition, it continues to move forward. The message of Jesus cannot be stopped by circumstances, politics, or war. God is always preparing a way before us, wherever He calls us to go. They challenged us as young adults to let our hearts break for what breaks God’s heart, to pray for those who are persecuted, to pray for those suffering in war, and to remember that God deeply loves people and desires for them to be saved. No matter what is happening in the world, God’s timing is perfect, His mission is still moving, and He is working through every hardship to bring hope and a future. Let our prayer be: “Lord, break my heart for what breaks Yours.” ❤️ Paradigm is a weekly gathering of Kansas City college and 20s-30s young adults who desire to see Jesus made known throughout the city! • Mark 9: Jesus vs Entitled Thoughts
    Feb 26 2026
How do you handle entitled thoughts when they appear? In Mark 9, we see an example of how Jesus shows how to deal with entitled thoughts. Jesus identifies the thought, informs the thought, then impacts the thought. We may not always think of entitled thoughts as something we wrestle with, but they are important to address when renewing our minds. Entitled thinking can look like thoughts of, “I deserve better than what I’m getting.” These kind of thoughts will drift you further from Jesus more than any other kind of thoughts, and can be dangerous when we are blind to seeing it in ourselves. Jesus said in Mark 9, “If anyone desires to be first, he will be last.” Remember ✍️ 1: You cannot access greatness without its Author. 2: Combat entitled thinking by caring for the parts of the world in need. • Exodus 3: Overcoming Imposter Syndrome
    Feb 19 2026
“Your feelings are real, but they’re not reliable.” From Exodus 3, we’re reminded that God calls ordinary people into extraordinary purpose. Even when insecurity, fear, and impostor syndrome try to speak louder than His voice. Just like Moses, we often make excuses: Who am I? I’m not enough. I don’t know enough. What if I fail? I can’t do this. But God isn’t looking for perfection He’s looking for surrender. He doesn’t need our confidence, our eloquence, or our qualifications. He wants our obedience. Sometimes the very thing standing between us and God’s calling is what we refuse to lay down. When God says “take off your shoes,” He’s asking us to remove whatever separates us from Him: sin, fear, pride, insecurity, or control. God doesn’t just send us, He goes with us. His presence leads. His name empowers. His promises sustain. His power makes the impossible possible. You are called. You are chosen. You are sent. Not because you’re enough, but because He is. 🤍 Each week, Paradigm sermons are posted on YouTube, Spotify, Amazon Music, and Pocket Casts! 📱 https://www.bible.com/events/49566453 Paradigm is a weekly gathering of Kansas City college and 20s-30s young adults who desire to see Jesus made known throughout the city! • Luke 15: Feeling Unloved and Unworthy
    Feb 12 2026
Feeling unloved or unworthy doesn’t change the truth of who God says you are. 🖤 In Luke 15, we’re reminded that our worth isn’t defined by our failures, our past, rejection, or perfectionism. It’s defined by the Father. We don’t have to earn God’s love. We don’t have to clean ourselves up first. We don’t have to perform, prove, or punish ourselves to be worthy of His grace. God doesn’t meet us with disappointment; He meets us with compassion. He runs toward us. He restores us. He robes us in honor and calls us His own. When we live in thoughts of unworthiness, we live in defeat. But when we live in the truth of God’s love, we live in freedom. You are more loved than you can imagine. You are not lost; you are called. You are not unworthy; you are His child. 🤍 Each week, Paradigm sermons are posted on YouTube, Spotify, Amazon Music, and Pocket Casts! 📱 https://www.bible.com/events/49563132 Paradigm is a weekly gathering of Kansas City college and 20s-30s young adults who desire to see Jesus made known throughout the city! • Galatians 10: Disease to Please
    Feb 5 2026
People-pleasing may look harmless, but it slowly replaces obedience with approval. In Galatians 1:10, Paul reminds us that we can’t seek the approval of both God and man at the same time. When our value is tied to being useful, liked, or not disappointing others, it leads to exhaustion, compromise, comparison, and fear. The fear of man becomes a trap, but trust in the Lord brings freedom (Proverbs 29:25). The cure isn’t trying harder—it’s trusting deeper. Knowing we are fully known and fully loved by God allows us to let go of man’s approval and walk in obedience, even when it costs us. Less approval. More obedience. Less fear. More freedom. ✝️🤍 Each week, Paradigm sermons are posted on YouTube, Spotify, Amazon Music, and Pocket Casts! 📱 https://www.bible.com/events/49559689 Paradigm is a weekly gathering of Kansas City college and 20s-30s young adults who desire to see Jesus made known throughout the city!
