He cares deeply about what’s shaping our lives. In Matthew 6, Jesus teaches that wherever our treasure is, our heart will follow. Our heart is our capacity to love and grow, so if our treasure is placed in things that can fade, be stolen, or destroyed, our hearts become vulnerable too. What we fix our eyes on shapes everything. Our priorities, our decisions, and our direction all follow. And Jesus is clear. We can’t serve two masters.
