Xueli speaks with Nan (they/them), 24 years old and originally from South Africa but lives in the UK since Nan was 7 years old. They are born with albinism and works as a model, loves yoga, visual arts. Their albinism affects daily live, Nan uses a cane occasionally and enjoys free public transport in the UK. Nan has a sibling with albinism which made it easier to accept this condition and Nan actually enjoys being different in various ways.
