  • Jay & Radhi Talk About the Pressure and Expectations Around Parenthood
    Nov 1 2025

In this first episode of On Purpose with Radhi, Jay opens up a conversation many of us have faced but rarely unpack, being asked, “When are you having kids?” What seems like a casual question often carries a weight that touches on biology, cultural expectations, financial realities, and deeply personal struggles. Together, Jay and Radhi peel back the layers of why this question can feel so triggering, especially for women, and why the assumptions behind it often miss the heart of the matter.

They explore how family pressure, societal timelines, and even social media comparisons can make people feel like they’re “behind,” while statistics actually show that having children later in life has become the norm. From the challenges of IVF and miscarriages to the fear of balancing career and motherhood, Jay and Radhi shed light on the unspoken realities couples quietly carry. They remind us that true preparation for parenthood isn’t about perfect timing, it’s about awareness, acceptance, and readiness for change.

    In this episode, you'll learn:

How to Handle Pressure About Having Kids

How to Prepare for the Real Changes of Parenthood

How to Know if You’re Ready for Children

How to Separate Society’s Timeline From Your Own

How to Support Friends Struggling With Fertility

The milestones that matter most are the ones that feel true to you, not the ones dictated by outside voices. Fulfillment is not found in comparison but in living with intention, compassion, and alignment to your own values.

    With Love and Gratitude,

    Jay Shetty

  • 7 Micro Habits That Will INSTANTLY Reset Your Mind & Boost Energy (Without Changing Your Whole Routine!)
    Oct 31 2025

Do you have a quick way to reset when you’re overwhelmed?

What’s something you wish worked better when you try to reset?

Today, Jay introduces a simple yet powerful 7-Day Micro Habit Reset, a series of small, intentional habits to help you pause, realign, and begin again with a clear mind and a calm heart. If you’ve been feeling drained, distracted, or disconnected from your goals, Jay reminds us that meaningful change doesn’t come from completely reinventing your routine, it starts with the small, mindful shifts you make every day.

Each habit is grounded in science, simplicity, and self-awareness. Jay explores how small practices, like expressing gratitude, taking a moment to reflect, or even embracing brief moments of discomfort, such as a 20-second cold rinse, can reset your energy, shift your perspective, and build emotional resilience. From writing just one sentence in your journal to checking in with your “future self,” these micro habits help you reclaim the calm and clarity that stress often takes away. This episode is a gentle reminder to slow down, find balance in the chaos, and trust that it’s the small, consistent actions that create real, lasting change.

    In this episode, you'll learn:

How to Reset Your Mind in 3 Breaths

How to Start Your Day Without Stress

How to Start Your Day with Clarity, Not Chaos

How to Create Calm When Life Feels Messy

How to Reclaim Time by Resetting Small Habits

Change doesn’t have to be overwhelming. It begins with the smallest steps, the quiet moments when you choose to breathe, observe, and reset instead of react.

  • Lori Gottlieb: Stop Mistaking Calm for Boring! (Follow THIS Simple Rule to Build REAL Love)
    Oct 29 2025

When was the last time you felt truly at ease with someone?

Do you feel that kind of ease often, or was it rare?

In this special live episode recorded at the DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C., Jay sits down with bestselling author and therapist Lori Gottlieb to explore the hidden dynamics that shape our relationships. Together, they unpack why so many of us feel the need to “perform” for love and how fear of rejection, perfectionism, and old emotional patterns can quietly erode connection. Lori shares how true intimacy begins with acceptance, not just of our partners, but of ourselves, and why showing up authentically is the only way to feel genuinely seen.

Through humor, warmth, and real audience interactions, Jay and Lori dive into topics like vulnerability, emotional safety, and the balance between “me time” and “we time.” They share how to stop trying to fix or control your partner, how to communicate without defensiveness, and how to build relationships rooted in curiosity and compassion instead of criticism.

This conversation is a reminder that love isn’t about finding someone who reads your mind, it’s about learning each other’s language, embracing imperfections, and creating a safe space where both people can grow.

    In this interview, you'll learn:

How to Stop Performing for Love

How to Create Emotional Safety in a Relationship

How to Let Your Partner Be Vulnerable

How to Build Connection Through Acceptance

How to Communicate Without Getting Defensive

How to Balance “Me Time” and “We Time”

How to Love Without Trying to Fix

Love is not a performance, it’s a practice. It’s built in the quiet moments when we choose to listen instead of defend, to understand instead of control, and to show up even when it feels uncomfortable. Every relationship, whether romantic or otherwise, becomes stronger when we replace judgment with curiosity and fear with honesty.

    With Love and Gratitude,

    Jay Shetty

I've been listening to On Purpose for over a year consistently, it is my Monday pick me up before work. It's always very motivating and it reminds me that I don't need to scare and stress about Monday, instead, it's a new opportunity to do what I want.

I've also follow Jay's meditation on YouTube and there's a funny experience I 'd like to share. Recently, I've taken a free dive class to experience something new. In order to calm my breath, the first thing that came to my mind was Jay' s voice saying " Calm, Balance & Peace" with the same amount of pauses he always said it, that boosted my courage to dive down into the ocean, to experience the unknown, it was wonderful.

Thank you again for the work that you've done.

A podcast that adds value to your life.
