  • May Have Found My Place, Still Looking for my People
    Jan 19 2026

The wormhole was intense, but the destination is worth it.

Last night, I had an "existential crisis.," meaning, "I feared for my very existence. Was it worth it?"

In this world, you have to go through it to get through it, and what seems at the moment to be a curse may actually be a blessing.

The funny thing is, I still think of New York as my home, but I think of Peru as "my place." It's like the perfect blend of Asian and Latin American flavors/cutures.

Never let anyone convince you that it's a small world. It's not. There are many universes, even within a single city. It's hard to imagine that that other Lima exists as I listen to the birds sing and the waves crash.

I blogged about my Lima experience, the good part of it.

  • Fertile Medellín, Colombia -- City in a Forest
    Jan 5 2026

This episode has little to do with NI vs. AI unless you consider the effect of one's attitude on the outcomes one experiences in 3D spacetime. ;-)

Medellín has turned out to be better than I expected, and I'm looking forward to a couple more weeks here.

I blogged about it here. There's even a video!

  • Parallel Universes Made Simple
    Jan 1 2026

Welcome to the Third Season of the NI vs. AI Podcast!

Time sure flies! hehe. Speaking of time...

A point has no depth, no height, and no width -- it is nothing by definition.

A line is a string of points, nothings chained together.

A plane (Flatland) is an infinite number of lines woven together. To do this, the lines must cross/touch since they have no width.

Our dimension, the 3D, is comprised of an infinite number of planes.

If you were a resident of Flatland, you would not be able to see see that you are just one of an infinite number of Flatlands inside a shape you can't comprehend. If you did see the intersection of another nearby Flatland, it would look like a line to you -- you would only see the intersection, not the whole picure.

This is how parallel universes work. Time is the line that we perceive when our 3D universe intersects with nearby 3D universes. The choices you make within each moment of time determine which parallel universe you will enter next. Your line is yours alone; you are the only person who keeps you company in every moment of your life. The rest are just fellow travelers whose own lines are intersecting with yours for a while.

  • First Impression of El Salvador
    Dec 10 2025

Recorded 24 hours after wheels-down in El Salvador, these are my first impressions.

I'm fully immersed in nature here and experiencing a massive surge of creative energy.

This one will be interesting to listen to a year from now, I think. It feels like a massive timeline shift.

  • All Alone and Loving It!
    Nov 23 2025

I have been undergoing a major life transformation and have not had time to record an episode lately. This one was recorded months ago but never released, so here it is.

This episode explores one of the dangers of AI -- that it could lead us all in to a Matrix-like existence where we plug into a pod and have AI kick us a VR world from which we never escape -- and the trump card of NI -- that you can choose to unplug and be creative with your own mind, body, and soul at any time. Also in this episode, I (sort of) played a song that I hadn't played in ten years. It's a good one off the GoodBoy album that I recorded with Band X. It's the first song on the album, "Sing a Song." You can hear the remnants that I was able to recover from memory here in this episode. If you're one of those weirdos who enjoys my acoustic performances, you'll probably enjoy this episode, even though the performance is a bit raggedy as it was dredged up from memory out of the blue; isn't that the essence of NI, though?

Anyway, this was a good episode, and I'm not sure why I didn't release it.

  • Nobody Ever Got Rich by Buying a BMW and Smashing Gold-diggers
    Oct 29 2025

Never mind the clickbait title, this episode is about competition and comparison. Those who listen just might sign up for tennis lessons. ;-)

I didn't actually mention anything explicitly about NI or AI in this episode because it's so obvious. AI might actually have an advantage here because it is not competing or comparing out of a sense of ego.

    Anyhoo...

It's you against you in the end. Those who compete at the highest level in any field are those who compete most intensely with themselves. AI can't do that because it needs external input to do its thing since it doesn't have a soul, at least not a high-ranking soul, maybe some "ghost in the machine" at best.

So you want to be rich and beautiful and highly skilled to the extent that only the best of the best can compete with you, and you welcome that competition because it only helps make you better?

    Listen.

Also buy my book. It will make you smile and laugh and might just change your life.

  • Beware Poison Ice Cream -- Affirm the Right Way and Manifest Your Wishes
    Oct 24 2025

In recent years, the word "manifestation" is on everyone's tongue, and I fear it may be partially my fault. Pop culture has been talking about "The Law of Attraction/Assumption" for over a decade, since that stupid book, The Secret came out. Why would "they" want you to tap into your incredible power? The secret aboutThe Secret and all other pop-culture tomes and gurus when it comes to the Law of Assumption/Attraction is that it is akin to a bowl of poison ice cream. Yeah, it's sweet and tasty, but it's laced with poison. In this episode, I expose that and show you how to do affirmations correctly.

I know this particular secret through experience and observation. TLDR: your affirmations must be true and actionable, or they will just leave you disappointed and discounting the power of your consciousness.

Buy my book. It will amuse you, make you think, and possibly change your life (for the better).

  • Karma Trumps Magic Every Time
    Oct 10 2025

Karma is simply action. It trumps all magic and voodoo. This explains everything, but you should still read the Bhagavad Gita, no matter what religion or spiritual tradition you follow, even if you're an atheist.

This video is an entertaining illustration of the "undercover billionaire" or "homeless angel" phenomenon discussed in this episode.
