Natural Intelligence (NI) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are two different things. In this podcast, we discuss a wide variety of topics viewed through the lens of this difference. The podcaster intends to improve the quality of his own consciousness and inspire natural intelligence in his listeners.

AI and NI can complement each other and need not conflict. AI drew the logo for this podcast, but NI came up with the concept and went through the necessary steps to make it a reality. NI is active (yang, if you will), and AI is reactive (yin, if you will). As we navigate the world of AI, the key to success is to balance these "technologies." NI has, sadly, become a lost art in recent years. Let's resurrect it and marry it to AI to build a world in which AI handles mundane tasks and NI is free to grow and blossom to its fullest!

  • May Have Found My Place, Still Looking for my People
    Jan 19 2026

The wormhole was intense, but the destination is worth it.

Last night, I had an "existential crisis.," meaning, "I feared for my very existence. Was it worth it?"

In this world, you have to go through it to get through it, and what seems at the moment to be a curse may actually be a blessing.

The funny thing is, I still think of New York as my home, but I think of Peru as "my place." It's like the perfect blend of Asian and Latin American flavors/cutures.

Never let anyone convince you that it's a small world. It's not. There are many universes, even within a single city. It's hard to imagine that that other Lima exists as I listen to the birds sing and the waves crash.

I blogged about my Lima experience, the good part of it.

  • Fertile Medellín, Colombia -- City in a Forest
    Jan 5 2026

This episode has little to do with NI vs. AI unless you consider the effect of one's attitude on the outcomes one experiences in 3D spacetime. ;-)

Medellín has turned out to be better than I expected, and I'm looking forward to a couple more weeks here.

I blogged about it here. There's even a video!

  • Parallel Universes Made Simple
    Jan 1 2026

Welcome to the Third Season of the NI vs. AI Podcast!

Time sure flies! hehe. Speaking of time...

A point has no depth, no height, and no width -- it is nothing by definition.

A line is a string of points, nothings chained together.

A plane (Flatland) is an infinite number of lines woven together. To do this, the lines must cross/touch since they have no width.

Our dimension, the 3D, is comprised of an infinite number of planes.

If you were a resident of Flatland, you would not be able to see see that you are just one of an infinite number of Flatlands inside a shape you can't comprehend. If you did see the intersection of another nearby Flatland, it would look like a line to you -- you would only see the intersection, not the whole picure.

This is how parallel universes work. Time is the line that we perceive when our 3D universe intersects with nearby 3D universes. The choices you make within each moment of time determine which parallel universe you will enter next. Your line is yours alone; you are the only person who keeps you company in every moment of your life. The rest are just fellow travelers whose own lines are intersecting with yours for a while.
