    A new study is making waves in the bodybuilding community that hints that IFBB professional bodybuilding carries a higher risk of death compared to amateur bodybuilders. Almost 20,000 bodybuilders were followed for an average of 8 years. Results: 1 in every 167 bodybuilders had died and of those 46 deaths were related to sudden cardiac arrest.
