After Iran shot down an American F-15 fighter jet on Friday, one airman was rescued, but the other remains missing. Meantime, a second rescue plane was also struck, but the pilot was able to fly out of Iranian territory and eject safely in Kuwait. Also, several news outlets are reporting two black hawk helicopters were able to safely land after taking fire in search and rescue operations with several crew members injured. An anesthesiologist on trial for attempted murder took the stand in his own defense Thursday. 40-year-old Stephen Brown was denied bail today after police say he killed his wife and fled the scene. 38-year-old Coral Springs Vice Mayor Nancy Metayer Bowen was found dead in her home after a friend asked police for a wellness check.
