  • What We Learn About Love Before We’re 10 (How We're Raised with Will Guidara)
    Mar 3 2026

This episode is part of our new series, How We’re Raised — conversations about how the homes we grew up in shape the way we lead, love, and parent today. Dr. Becky sits down with restaurateur and author Will Guidara to explore how being deeply seen as a child shaped the way he builds culture — in restaurants and at home. Will shares what it was like growing up with a mother who became quadriplegic after brain cancer, the quiet power of full presence, and how those early experiences led him to build a career around “unreasonable hospitality” — not in pursuit of product, but in pursuit of people.Together, they talk about:

    • Why feeling seen matters more than being impressive
    • The gift — and cost — of being the person who cares for everyone
    • Why holding your child can matter more than fixing their problem
    • And how to bring more intention into your home life

  • When Food Feels Scary: Eating Disorders in Kids & Teens (Early Signs & What Helps)
    Feb 24 2026

When food starts to feel tense, restrictive, or obsessive at home, it can send a parent into panic fast.In observation of National Eating Disorder Awareness Week, Dr. Becky sits down with Dr. Erin Parks, Chief Clinical Officer at Equip Health, to talk about eating disorders and disordered eating in kids and teens—what the early signs look like, what’s happening emotionally underneath, and how parents can respond without escalating shame or control struggles.Eating disorders affect an estimated 30 million Americans in their lifetime. They are common. They are serious. And they are not caused by “bad parenting.” In this episode, we cover:

    • Early warning signs of eating disorders in kids and teens (including boys)
    • When “healthy eating” becomes rigid or concerning
    • The role of perfectionism and control
    • How diet culture shows up in family language
    • What shame sounds like inside a teen’s head
    • How to hold boundaries around health without turning food into a power struggle
    • When it’s time to seek professional help

Disordered eating behaviors are not about vanity or defiance—they’re often attempts to regulate overwhelming feelings. This conversation will help you feel more oriented, more compassionate, and clearer about your role.Equip Health is a sponsor of Good Inside's new Teen podcast.

Such a helpful podcast... every week I look forward to the new episode! Helpful strategies and advice. Life changing.

Love Dr Becky!

This was an enlightening episode, fascinating, really! We all do have different voices and I loved how we can ask our calm self to stay. Things go better when that self stays. When we are sick or tired and do or say things we regret it is very important to repair! Go back apologize and tell them how you wished you would have handled it. I also loved how you praised the mom that was just present with her child.

Wow! The Voices in our Head!

I am a parent coach myself and the father of four year old twin boys. I have read lots of books about parenting young children and have appreciated the value of many parenting “experts.” Listening (binging) to Dr.Becky over the last month has solidified many of my ideas and really helped me with lots of practical ideas to support my children. She covers it all. Nervous system regulation, boundaries, emotional validation and does this while affirming the emotional toll that comes with being a parent. I bow to Dr. Becky’s insight and creative, honest exploration of her own parenting process. I listened to these podcasts while riding my bike to work and there were many times I was pumping my fists in the air knowing that other parents are learning these skills and helping to create a healthier future for their children. Thank you Dr. Becky.

The best parenting advice available.

“Parenting is so easy!” said no one ever... and PS, there is no handbook... until now. Dr. Becky is my go to source for parenting techniques and I swear by her golden nuggets of practical and realistic advice. I even catch my own “self talk” shifting from a place of shame and blame to curiosity and nurturing. She is a total family game changer. I am a huge HUGE fan and highly recommend this podcast, her IG, workshop and anything else! Thank you for including us in your journey, Dr. Becky! You are such an inspiration!

Hands down, Dr. Becky is EVERYTHING!
