This week we sit down with Derek Walton.  Derek was a former Kiowa Pilot and Apache Pilot that served 9+ Years in the Army. He was the Commander of Bravo Troop 7-17 CAV, and today we share stories of life as a Commander and life deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. 

I sit down with my wife Renee Hamilton, and we discuss parenting, marriage, health and everything that goes on in our life. After being married for 16 years, we have been through a lot of ups and downs and we give you a small glimpse of how we tackle each day. There isn't a secret recipe, but we know that laughter definitely helps. Enjoy!

This week we sit down with Lane Duhon and listen to his personal story, outlining his 20+ year career in the United States Army. Lane is currently on Active Duty and due to retire this summer. He has served in a multitude of assignments to include the 173rd Airborne Brigade as a Recon Team member; 3rd Infantry Division (Squad Leader); 6th Ranger Training Brigade (Ranger Instructor); 3rd Infantry Regiment Old Guard (Platoon Sergeant); Asymmetric Warfare Group (Operation Manager / Integrator Consultant); 101st Airborne Division (1st Sergeant); Senior Military Science Instructor (Embry Riddle Aeronautical University). 
He has multiple combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan and other OCONUS locations. 

This week we share some stories of great Americans that we knew, who answered the call to serve and gave the ultimate sacrifice.  We are forever indebted to their service and will never forget the memories shared with them.   

Jordan Phipps joins us this week to talk about her life growing up and how her childhood and teenage years shaped the path she would eventually walk down.
She opens up about her addiction to drugs, alcohol, and many other very traumatizing events in her life, that ultimately led her to recovery, her husband and a healthy relationship with her family.
