    We have a truly extraordinary guest joining us. Laura Angotti, a renowned author and historian who has spent decades delving into the ancient art of mead-making.

    Laura has written extensively on the history of mead, exploring recipes and traditions that span thousands of years and various cultures. Her latest book, "Wellcome Mead," is available on Amazon, and her eagerly anticipated new release, "Gold and Sweet, Ensnaring," will be out soon. She's cataloged over 4000 historical mead recipes, recreated and tasted more than 100 of them, and her work goes beyond just recipes – she dives into the genetics of yeast, medieval abbey operations, and more, bringing historical context to life.

    Laura's impressive background includes training in Engineering and Biology from MIT and Northeastern University, alongside professional expertise in industrial fermentation and water treatment.
