The clock is ticking… and Season 2 is officially ON.

Bob and Mike are back in the home office to launch Season 2 of Command the Commute with a full-throttle breakdown of the Commanders’ offseason. The NFL Draft is in the books, and the guys are diving into every pick—starting with the monster at #7, Sonny Styles. Is he the playmaking defensive weapon Washington has been missing? The boys are fired up, cautiously optimistic, and already talking positionless defense.

Then it’s on to free agency, where the Commanders didn’t chase flashy headlines—they plugged holes. Leo Chenal brings violence, juice, and attitude to the middle of the defense. Odafe Oweh, Amik Robertson, Chig Okonkwo, Rashad White, Jerome Ford, and more get the full CTC treatment as Bob and Mike sort through who fits, who sticks, and who could be gone by roster cuts.

Of course, no Commanders offseason is complete without a uniform debate. The new burgundy, white, and black sets are here—and they might be the closest thing yet to the old-school Redskins look. So naturally, the guys go there: could the logo come back? Could the name ever return? And is the new stadium timeline the real deadline?

Plus: NFL offseason drama, Dan Quinn’s warming seat, next year’s NFL Draft coming to DC, WrestleMania disappointment, Ravens uniform slander, and what’s ahead for Season 2.

New season. New roster. Same two maniacs on the mic.

We’re on the clock. Let’s ride.

  • Season Finale

Thirty episodes. One rollercoaster season. And we’re wrapping up Season One the only way we know how.

In this finale, we break down the Super Bowl — the defensive battle, the halftime show debate, the commercials (or lack of memorable ones), and yes… the streaker. Then we reflect on what this first season of Command the Commute has meant to us and to the growing community listening across multiple states and countries.

From bold preseason predictions (13–4… we remember 😅) to a 5–12 reality check, we own it all.

Then it’s time for the first-ever Commies Awards — handing out honors for:

    • Best “We Were There” moment
    • Injury of the Year
    • X-Files Award (former players still shining)
    • Don’t Come Back Player of the Year
    • Commander in Chief
    • Team MVP
      …and more.

We close things out looking ahead to a pivotal offseason — draft strategy, cap space decisions, and how this team builds around its franchise quarterback.

Season One is officially in the books...The offseason begins...And we’ll be back when it’s time to Command the Commute again.

  • Super Bowl: One Day…
    Feb 4 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

The season’s over… but we’re not done. This is the pre–Super Bowl finale of Command the Commute — where Bob and Mike try to survive the offseason and make sense of what the hell Washington is building.

We open with the new DC hire: Daronte Jones. Bob lays out the path, the coaching tree influence, and why Washington’s defense has to take a step forward after a year that felt like rooting for field goals.

From there, it’s a full-on identity conversation: teased logos, spear imagery, throwback rumors, and what a realistic timeline looks like for a future rebrand with the stadium era looming.

Then we go league-wide: Bill Belichick not being first ballot sparks a Hall of Fame debate, including the short list of true first-ballot coaches — and why Joe Gibbs still confuses the timeline.

We end where the entire sports world ends up: the Super Bowl. Prop bets, commercials, halftime conversation, and full game picks for Seattle Seahawks vs. New England Patriots — plus why we’re pulling for Seattle.

Next week: our season finale — listener stats, new countries, and end-of-season awards. 🏆

    Hail to the Redskins.

  • Conference Championship: Coordinator Conundrums

Snow’s coming, pizza’s here, and the playoff picture is chaos — so Bob drags a half-blind Mike through a rapid-fire rundown of everything from Land Man (Billy Bob still undefeated) to last week’s NFL playoff madness (including that Rams/Bears OT rollercoaster and the Bills’ heartbreak). Then it’s coaching-carousel season: DC still vacant in Washington, the David Blough OC hire gets a Colt McCoy stamp of approval, and the guys debate which open head coaching jobs are actually worth taking (spoiler: the Browns are still the Browns). They wrap with championship game picks, a little Oscars talk, a little WWE/Saudi money debate, and a whole lot of “we miss when the Commanders were good.” Hail.

  • Divisional Round: Playoff Pressure
    Jan 17 2026

We’re officially in the offseason… but we’re not wasting any time. 🚗🎙️

On this episode of Command the Commute, Bob and Mike break down the newly released “New RFK” stadium renderings — 65–70K seats, a translucent roof, climate control, and a full entertainment district… with a price tag hovering around $4B. Bob even turns it into a hilarious real-estate listing for the “next investment opportunity.”

Then it’s coaching chaos: David Blough is named Offensive Coordinator, and we talk what it could mean for the offense, Dan Quinn’s pressure level, and early DC rumor chatter (including Brian Flores). Plus: tailgating and parking concerns — and how the metro + city setup might change the whole game day routine.

Beast & Least is back: the Eagles earn “least” after a first-round exit and sideline drama, while the Giants take “beast” after landing John Harbaugh (who is now officially dead to us 😤).

We wrap with playoff picks and quick hits: Bills/Broncos, 49ers/Seahawks, Texans/Patriots, Rams/Bears.

Follow us on Instagram / Facebook / TikTok — and if you’ve been riding with us all season, leave a review, share the show, and send it to your favorite Washington fan. Hail to the Redskins/Commanders.

  • WILDCARD WEEKEND: Couch Commanders
    Jan 10 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

Bob and Mike kick off the postseason from the couch after Washington finishes the year 5–12, recapping the final week, the full 2025 season whiplash, and what it means heading into a massive offseason. They react to early coaching and coordinator fallout, debate who’s really calling the shots in Washington (AP vs. DQ vs. ownership), and talk through what the team has to fix to avoid another year like this.

Then the conversation shifts league-wide to Black Monday chaos — including the shocker that rocked the AFC North: John Harbaugh out in Baltimore. The guys break down the wild Ravens–Steelers finish and bring on returning guest for a Steelers-focused pulse check, including the Tomlin debate, playoff expectations, and a few conspiracy-theory laughs.

To wrap it up, the crew runs through wild-card weekend picks, gives their early Super Bowl lean, and sets the plan for the show: weekly playoff episodes, bracket tracking, and reactions all the way through the big game — before transitioning into the offseason grind.

  • Week 18: Philly Finale Finally
    Jan 4 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

Bob and Mike fire up the mics one last time in the regular season to unpack a brutal Christmas loss to the Cowboys, complete with prime rib, Netflix gripes, and the familiar feeling of trailing all game. From there, they dive into one of their favorite topics: player incentives. The guys break down what’s on the line in Week 18 for names like Deebo Samuel, Sam Darnold, Saquon Barkley and more, and imagine how late-game play-calling might change when hundreds of thousands (or millions) of dollars are at stake.

In their final Can’t Lose Locks of the year, Bob updates the season-long betting battle with “your friend who bets” Tom, while Mike runs through his full slate of picks and overall record. Then it’s on to a big-picture playoff and seeding breakdown around the league before shifting into “Black Monday” mode with a tiered look at head coaches on the hot seat — from Stefanski and McDaniel to Tomlin and even Andy Reid.

They close by previewing the Week 18 Philly matchup, venting about the Commanders’ exhausting 4-win season, quarterback decisions, and expected staff changes, and teasing what’s next: a full playoff bracket run-through, offseason episodes, and a possible road trip to Pittsburgh for the NFL Draft as the start of Season Two of Command the Commute.

The guys break down the highs and lows from last week’s home matchup against the Eagles, explain why Philly definitely doesn’t deserve Santa, and hand out their NFC East Beast & Least — with a holiday twist featuring Santa’s reindeer. They wrap things up by previewing what to expect against the Cowboys on Christmas Day, capped off with Bob delivering a Washington-themed Christmas poem. Festive, fired up, and full of rivalry — it’s Christmas with Dem Boyz.
