    We all know we have agency—the amazing ability to choose—but did you know that it can feel like a finite resource? Our ability to choose what is best for us is often harder than it should be. It all depends on the habits we cultivate in our daily life. Today we're going to take a little quiz to discover how reactive or proactive we are, and I’m going to share with you the two habits that have increased my agency the most.

    Agency is your ability to choose—but that capacity can fluctuate. Sometimes our agency feels strong, and other times, almost non-existent. How do we strengthen it?

  • 7-8-9 Decide Once_Find your why_Forgiveness (CONSISTENCY NOT PERFECTION)

    Let’s talk about decision fatigue—and how it sabotages our consistency.

    One of my favorite truths is: Doing is easy. Deciding is hard.

    Every time you leave a habit up to a daily decision, you are gambling with your willpower—and willpower is finite. Every single choice drains it just a little more.

    The secret? Make the decision once.

    Let’s talk about motivation—the kind that lasts.

    Surface-level reasons like “I should do this” or “everyone else is doing it” rarely stick. To build lasting habits, you need to find your why—and I mean the real one. The one that lives under your skin and anchors you when everything else feels hard.

    Try this: Ask yourself why you want a habit. Then ask why again. And again.

    Here’s an example:

    • Why do I want to exercise? To be fit.
    • Why do I want to be fit? To have more energy.
    • Why do I want more energy? So I can be joyful and present with my family.

    That final why is your anchor. It’s personal. It’s real. And it matters.

    Let’s be real: you’re going to mess up. We all do. The real power of consistency isn’t about being perfect. It’s about your ability to begin again—kindly, compassionately, and quickly.

    Forgiveness is the bridge back to the path.

    This principle has become a cornerstone of my meditation practice. When your mind wanders, you gently return. No shame. No story. Just come back. Again and again.

Understanding your natural tendency isn’t about putting yourself in a box—it’s about creating a container that actually supports the kind of growth you’re after.

    This isn't about quitting your dreams or your goals, but quitting the influences, habits, and patterns that quietly pull you away from who you truly are. Maybe for you, it’s a tangled relationship with food, caffeine, your phone, a certain relationship, or social media. We all have something.
