75 Hard Day 6: Pushing Through the Resistance – Why This Isn’t for Everyone

Day 6 of the 75 Hard Challenge… and this is where the real battle begins.

In this episode, I go beyond just ticking off the daily tasks and dive into the truth most people don’t talk about—why 75 Hard isn’t for everyone, and why so many people quit before they ever see real change.

This isn’t just about workouts and discipline…
It’s about mindset, identity, and doing the hard things when you don’t feel like it.

I also share something far more personal.

Through consistent discipline—especially with exercise and cutting back alcohol—I’ve managed to put my Type 2 diabetes into remission.

And if you’re someone currently struggling with type 2 diabetes, I want this episode to give you something powerful:

    👉 Hope.

    Because change is possible.
Not overnight… not easily… but through small, consistent actions repeated daily.

    You’ll hear:

    • Why motivation fades—and what replaces it
    • The reality of sticking to 75 Hard beyond the first few days
    • Key lessons from Relentless by Tim Grover
    • Honest reflections from Day 5 and the push through Day 6
    • A simple mindset shift that can start changing your life today

    This episode isn’t about perfection.

It’s about showing up… even when you don’t want to.

🎧 If you’re on your own journey—whether it’s fitness, discipline, or taking control of your health—this one’s for you.

👉 Follow the series and join me as I push through all 75 days.

  • 75 Hard - Day 5 - No Negotiation, i'm all in!
    Apr 17 2026

Day 5 of my 75 Hard challenge—and something’s starting to shift.

The early “let’s see how this goes” phase is gone. Now it’s becoming routine… a standard. The hesitation is disappearing, and the focus is getting sharper.

In today’s episode, I talk through my morning workout (Bullworker, resistance bands, and bodyweight exercises), the plan to get the outdoor session done despite the overcast weather, and why consistency is starting to feel easier.

I’ve also switched up the book I’m reading to Relentless – From Good to Great to Unstoppable by Tim S. Grover, and it already feels like the perfect fit for this challenge. After just a couple of chapters, it’s clear this is about more than motivation—it’s about mindset, discipline, and becoming someone who doesn’t negotiate with themselves.

I also recap the 75 Hard rules and why their simplicity—and strictness—is exactly what makes this challenge so powerful.

Everything is on track. No missed tasks. Momentum is building.

    Day 5… done.

  • 75 Hard - Day 4 – Discipline Is Starting to Bite (And I Love It)
    Apr 16 2026

In this episode, I break down yesterday’s full routine, including a tough hill-focused bike session that really pushed the lungs and legs, followed by an intense Bullworker workout combining isometric holds, resistance bands, and bodyweight training. Feeling it today… in a good way.

I also dive into the importance of discipline when it comes to nutrition—clean eating all day, no shortcuts, and hitting that full gallon of water target. This isn’t about perfection—it’s about consistency.

Alongside the physical side, I’ve been reading Mental Fitness by Ant Middleton, and I share some powerful takeaways around resilience, controlled discomfort, and why your mind will quit long before your body does.

We also talk about what 75 Hard really is—a mental toughness program, not just a fitness challenge—and why so many people struggle to complete it.

Solid sleep, strong mindset, and momentum building.

Day 4 complete. Let’s keep going.
