  • Alive in Her
    Oct 23 2025

In this powerful episode, Laziena sits down with Catalina, a psychotherapist and founder of Alive in Her!

The conversation centers on the epidemic of shame culture - how it's passed down through generations, leaving women feeling isolated, worthless, and silenced. Catalina shares how her movement provides a crucial global village where women can support each other, validate their feelings, and find connection.

Laziena gets vulnerable, sharing her personal journey of confronting her own generational trauma, healing toxic relationship patterns, and how she repaired her relationship with her kids.

--- Editor note: AHHH! Such an amazing episode, sad I missed out on this recording, but I know our next episode will be amazing. And yes Catalina I am so proud of my mom. Our family has been through so much, and healing our wounds allowed us to become closer. It's what sparked our initial thought to start up this podcast. I look forward to speaking with you further. • Why do we stay silent?
    Jul 9 2025

    Hello!

On this episode Trudy, Laziena and I sit down to talk about what staying silent means to us in the ways of shutting down our voice, not coming forward with truamas or hiding our emotions.

You deserve to get your story out, your pain is important too and just by sharing it not only do you give yourself that freedom, but you also help another who's gone through it as well. Justice may or may not be on our side, but your community and support system always will. <3

  • Advice from your favorite uncle
    Jun 11 2025

In honor of Men's mental health awareness month, my favorite uncle, (Arfan) sits down with us to discuss the challenges behind mental health, signs of burnout, and the affects of how personal development have shifted the awareness of self.

    You are worthy of space.

    ----

    The 5 hard truths:

“1. Its not talked about enough, in the space for men.

    2. It is extremely difficult for women to teach men how to operate in masculine energy and how to balance it.

    3. Good physical health does not mean you have good mental health

    4. You need to drink more water

    5. Look at your calendar right now, and be honest with yourself, what is something you have in there for you or your mental health within the next month. And if you do not have anything planned, you must face the reality you are not putting your mental health with the importance it deserves.”

Listen for the next instruction at the end of the episode.

Thank you for all your support. See ya on the next one.
