  • Episode 15 Todd Tilghman Interview
    Nov 10 2020

Todd Tilghman of Meridian, Mississippi, is a pastor best known as the winner of the 18th season of American series The Voice. He has the distinction of being the first artist to be aired that season and the first artist to be aired as being unanimously selected by the judges (however, this is not necessarily the case as the auditions are aired out of order). He decided to compete in the team coached by Blake Shelton, proving to do the expected. His voice took him straight to the winners circle. At age 42, he became the oldest winner in the series history, a record previously held by Josh Kaufman.
Tilghman has been singing in church since he was eight years old.[1] He is married to his high school sweetheart, Brooke, and is the father of eight children. Since 2011, he has been the lead pastor of Cornerstone Church in Meridian. Tilghman's eldest son, Eagan Tilghman, was a contestant on NBC's Making It (TV series).

  • Episode 14 Host Jody Dyess shares about the One More
    Sep 2 2020

Jody has been working in the anti-human trafficking world since 2009. During that time there has been times that overlying size of the issue has been overwhelming. Jody looks at the life of Desmond Doss as in inspiration to impact one more person's life. It is easy to miss or be overwhelmed by shear number of things, but if we focus on one person at a time and helping change or impact their life for the better, it becomes more manageable.

    Show Notes:
It’s imperative that we monitor our children's social media, the internet access they have, their cell phones, and chat with them about the dangers out there. We need to know who they are hanging out with, and educate ourselves on what’s happening in our world. You know the drill. All good things.

What happens when we are not with our child though?... or we’ve completed the lists… We’ve checked off all the boxes in the trafficking 101 class… We’ve done everything we could possible do, read, research, google and gather... and still don’t feel confident that our kids are safe.

“Raising kids in a sex trafficked world” is a deeper look at the future our kids are facing and how to prepare them to not only survive the oncoming onslaught of sexual advances, sexting requests, pornography, abductors, and exploiters; but to fearlessly conquer their world and fight back against trafficking.
