Terrifying...

Very well done. Scary to see how unregulated this field is. Very upset about the justice dealt and hope for change. Feel so bad for the families and friends affected by this greed.

And then I think about all the missing people out there...

Creepy. Absolutely Creepy!!

This SEEMS criminal... but maybe not. Icky but maybe not illegal. This raises some great questions.

Truly a Wild Ride

The premise of this story really caught me, and the details they give aren't really too graphic- the biggest ick in the whole story was when they played a clip of one of the training tapes. I don't believe that sound will ever free itself from my head...
The narration is engaging and professional. Dialogue is well mixed and cut at the right times, and every time someone else speaks, the narrator makes sure to tell you who they are.
The information is laid out well and details are given in just the right way. They take a lot of time to emphasize the gaps in law that allowed this story to unfold, and it's unfortunate that Gore got off with the sentence that he did. This one is a fantastic ride from beginning to end and I would recommend it to any true crime lover or mortician out there.

Fascinating and very, very disturbing

If you have morbid curiosities like myself, and like great reporting, storytelling, and bioethical quandaries, boy are you in for a treat!!

This was well done indeed.

horrifying truth that needed to be told

thank you for sharing this shocking education! Although difficult for those who were affected. Without their loved ones sacrifices we would not have know of the horror

Huge eye opener / spoiler alert

Amazing true story. If l had any plans to donate my body, l sure do not any longer. I wish the people responsible for what happened were put in a cell for the rest of their days. I can just imagine what th families of the donated bodies went through when all was revealed. Could not stop listening.

Donations are not always what they seem

This production was very well done, with actual interviews from the investigation of BRC. As a funeral director with over 20 years of experience as well as experience as a representative of some body donation agencies, I was well aware of some of the practices and personally would not choose whole body donation for myself or my family. As stated at the end of this series, the best option, if you want to donate a body, is to set it up directly with a university ahead of the time of need. However, some people are comfortable with this type of donation, and there are legitimate agencies out there that do as they say and return the cremated remains after a time, all at no expense to the family. This may be too graphic for some audiences to listen to.

Personal stories unnecessary

This story is fascinating and the details shocking to listen to. The story is about this facility and the operation they were running...the stories about the people themselves are completely out of place in my mind. All of the people who were taken advantage of in death and the people who meant well by putting them there only to be lied to and who now have to deal with personal pain and guilt that their loved ones were so disgracefully mistreated, can be discussed as a group. There's no need to hear about the schizophrenia and chain hanging death of this young man. It doesnt add to the story at all. Just adds a layer of depressing stories
