  • Why Is Tall Clothing So Expensive? | And Where To Find Tall Women's Clothing
    Apr 16 2026
Finding quality clothing as a tall woman has always been a struggle.

Yes, there are a lot more options than there were about 10, 15, 20 years ago.

Big retailers are finally offering “tall sizes”, which was great to see, only to find out that tall to them isn’t the same as tall to us. Apparently, catering to the 5’7”, 5’8” girlies is enough, and the girlies taller than that just don’t exist. Additionally, proportions are weird; the hip and waist areas don’t fit well, and we have the TikTok Shop ‘tall girl friendly’ scams.

So there are all these options, and yet it still feels like there’s quite literally no options for us. But that’s not entirely true. There are options for us that are good quality and long enough.

You just have to open up your wallet and spend hundreds of dollars ://////

In today’s episode, we’re going to discuss where the tall girlies can find clothing for their long limbs and why tall clothing seems so expensive. Tune in for more!

  • Is Being Thin The Only Way Tall Women Are Accepted? | The Unhealthy Pressures Tall Women Face
    Apr 9 2026
Growing up, many tall girlies feel insecure about their height.

Whether we were bullied in middle school for it, or we just feel out of place around our peers, or we have a difficult time finding clothes that fit us well.

And while yes, there are people out there who definitely further these insecurities, there are also people who try to make us feel better about our height. When we voice our frustrations, they’ll say things like:

“Stop complaining. You’re so lucky to be tall.”

    “At least you’re skinny.”

Or even the classic: “Well, models are tall.”

And we all know what body type they’re talking about when comparing us to models.

So that brings up the question: Is being tall as a woman only acceptable when you’re thin?

Well, hopefully, we can answer that in today’s episode as well as explore some of the pressure that tall women feel to be thin. Tune in for more!

  • The Scary Reality for Tall Women: How Transphobia Impacts Tall Cisgender Women
    Apr 2 2026
    Sometimes, tall women are misgendered.

There are quite a few stories around this, ranging from being called ‘sir’ to literally being asked straight up ‘Are you a man?’

Now, why does this happen? Height = masculinity…to some people.

Because it’s a desirable physical trait associated with men.

Most people typically apologize and go about their lives normally when they find out that a tall cisgender woman is, in fact, a cisgender woman and not transgender, but not all interactions are that way. Yes, there are some arguments and maybe physical altercations going on.

In today’s episode, we’ll discuss the misgendering of tall women, where transphobia comes into play, and a few stories/experiences from tall women. Tune in for more!

    Mar 26 2026
Height plays a big role in how we are viewed in society, whether you are a man or a woman.

And the more height you have (the taller you are), the more likely you are to be associated with qualities like power, wealth, leadership, intimidation, dominance, and that affects how we’re treated in our everyday lives. I will definitely say that it affects tall women more than it affects tall men.

And because this is A Tall Girl’s Podcast, we’re largely gonna focus on the woman side of things.

There are a lot of reasons why taller people, even taller women, are associated with these characteristics and the media is one of those reasons.

In today’s episode, we’re diving into how tall women are portrayed in the media and how that affects the way other people view tall women and the way we view ourselves. Tune in for more!

  • Why Does This Happen To Younger Tall Girls? | The Sexualization of Tall Teens and Preteens
    Mar 5 2026
On this podcast, we often talk about the fetishization/sexualization of tall women.

Like when weird people show up in our social media DMs asking for videos or pictures of our feet or long limbs.

Or when folks express their fascination with our stature and want to be dominated by us.
Or when people comment “death by snu snu” under our videos.

    Some people are just…weird.

Listen. You do you. If that’s what you’re into, then go for it. But let’s be careful about what we say on the Internet and to strangers.

Anyways, we often see this type of behavior happen to adult tall women, but what if I told you that younger tall girlies are also sexualized? Yup, we’re talking teens or preteens. It’s truly disheartening.

So in today’s episode, we’re talking about the sexualization of young tall girls, how that affects their mental health and self-esteem into adulthood, and some important tips and reminders for parents of these tall girls. Tune in to the full episode for more!

  • When Tall Women Are Called “Fat” | How Height Distorts Body Perception
    Feb 26 2026
I’m sure you’ve heard that one of the benefits of being tall is that you can eat whatever and however much you want.

Now, this isn’t entirely true, but the idea behind it is that if you gain weight, it won’t show as much.

Now, that part has some truth to it because the weight has more room to distribute, causing many of us to maintain a slim appearance. However, when we start talking numbers, the perception almost shatters.

Maybe you hear your friends talking about how they’re 120 or 130 pounds, but you’re at 180 or 190. And that’s where the comparison starts. You may wonder why you weigh so much more than your friends and ask if you should lose weight. The truth is, many tall women have been through this before and still go through it.

So today’s topic may be a bit triggering for some, but we’re gonna have a conversation around weight as tall women and how comparisons and labels around weight can affect our mental health. Tune in for more!
