Avoidance isn’t laziness it is protection.

In this episode, I explore avoidance not as laziness but as protection. The subtle ways we distance ourselves from hard conversations, from uncomfortable emotions, from risks that might expose us.

I share how I’ve mistaken withdrawal for strength, intellectualizing for clarity, perfectionism for standards. How I’ve avoided anger. Avoided love. Avoided being seen before I felt ready.

Avoidance works. That’s the problem. It gives relief. It buys time. It keeps us intact.
