Thanks for this!
I loved it! I love hearing that I’m not alone in my thinking and I love knowing that though I feel alone in this at times- I’m not. There are many other people rowing their tiny little boat alone on a perilous sea- and I think I forget to look up and see them rowing too. Though alone- I’m not alone. Thanks again.

Shame is a name
It’s a name I’ve been duct taped with my whole life
It’s stuck in with the secrets that burn me
The ones that protect the evil doers
They make it stick by using my love for others
That the telling of the truth will hurt them or get them hurt
The irony and the anger burn the house down
When you grow to understand the dupe
The fucking monstrosity of the twisted mind

The innocence of a child so they take
As grown women we are here and roaring with rage and justice calls
No one will ever make me sell out for any reason
I know my worth and will sit alone if need be
Yet as we all raise our voices against the false dichotomies set before us we realize there is enough. There is no us or them - just all of us
This banquet table is for all women past, present and future and our worth is in our bones, the skin that covers it, the energy we give and send together in support - we are more than a pod squad - we are more than women listening - we are a fucking revolution of higher ground for what we love, who we love and the true definition of love….thank you for saying all the hard things out loud because when we just whisper it to ourselves it can’t really catch fire - let’s burn the world down with this terribly beautiful love ❤️🙏🏻🌎

How can I love Glennon Doyle more?
How I can love Glennon Doyle more is when she does a podcast with her sister about anxiety and depression. This woman continues to reach into my soul and relate to everything that’s inside there.
I am a recovered alcoholic and drug addict of over three decades. And I’ve never heard anyone share spirituality recovery and being gay in such an amazing way. I’ve been with my wife for 27 years, and the conflict of the spiritual world and being in the LGBTQ world can be hard to navigate. Glennon is so good at sharing things from her heart in a way that I can understand and relate. And then use in my daily life. Amazing!
My goal this week is to build my pod squad to at least three people! Thanks Glennon and sister!!!

i laughed. i cried. i loved it ♥️
so much good stuff in this episode. things that people who struggle with anxiety need to hear and things that people who love someone with anxiety need to understand. and the song at the end is just so beautiful. can't wait for the next episode.
