סיום הרמב"ם וביאור הלכה האחרונה ברמב"ם: "ובאותו הזמן [שתהי' מציאות הזמן וגדרי העולם, וביחד עם זה יהיו חדורים בהגילויים דימות המשיח], לא יהי' שם לא רעב ולא מלחמה [גם לא בנוגע לאכילה ושתי' רוחניים ומלחמה דקדושה] ולא קנאה ותחרות [גם של קדושה – חידוש גדול, כי הרי מצינו שלעת"ל "כאו"א נכוה מחופתו של חבירו", שזהו"ע הקשור לכאו' עם קנאה דקדושה], שהטובה תהי' מושפעת הרבה וכל המעדנים מצויין כעפר ["טובה" ו"מעדנים" כפשוטם בריבוי מופלג, ועד"ז ברוחניות], ולא יהי' עסק כל העולם אלא לדעת את ה' בלבד [אע"פ שישנו "עולם" מלשון "העלם והסתר", שלכן יש צורך ב"עסק" ומסחר, כי ע"י הירידה למטה נעשית עלי' גדולה ביותר, אעפ"כ תהי' הידעה בהוי', בלבד], ולפיכך יהיו ישראל חכמים גדולים [מכיון שיהיו פנויים בתורה וחכמתה, ואז יקבלו שכר על עבודתם בזמן הגלות] וישיגו דעת בוראם כפי כח האדם [הדרגא ד"בורא", דרגת האלקות דעולם הבריאה, נעשית בהישג-יד (ע"י ההשגה) דה"אדם", מכיון שהוא "אדמה לעליון" שלמע' מזה וכו'], שנאמר כי מלאה הארץ דעה את ה' [ומוסיף גם סיום הפסוק – דלא כבהל' תשובה] כמים לים מכסים" [שמורה על ביטול לגמרי].

Synopsis

The final halacha in Rambam states: “In that era (meaning the world and the boundaries of the time and space will still exist, but they will be permeated with the revelation of the days of Moshiach) there will be neither hunger nor war (not even spiritual hunger or thirst, nor wars of holiness), neither envy nor competition (not even envy of holiness, which is a novelty because we know that in the future, “each one will be burned by the canopy of his fellow,” which seemingly relates to envy of holiness), for good will flow in abundance and all the delights will be freely available as dust (abundant good and delights in both physical and spiritual matters). The occupation of the entire world will be solely to know Hashem (although there will still be a “world,” meaning concealment and hiddenness, which is why there will be a need for “occupation” and commerce, nevertheless the only pursuit will be knowledge of Hashem). Therefore, the Jews will be great sages (because they will be free to focus on the Torah and its wisdom, and they will receive the reward for their service during the time of exile) and know the (most) hidden matters, grasping the knowledge of their Creator according to the full extent of human potential (the level of the world of Beriah will be grasped by “man,” because man emulates the Supernal Man) as the verse states: ‘The world will be filled with the knowledge of Hashem (and the Rambam adds the end of the verse, unlike in the Laws of Teshuvah) as the waters cover the ocean bed’ (total bitul).”
