Great writing and storyline. I'm hooked on Harrison! Pretty intense yet witty. I love Angus narrating and was happy Not to hear some of his old voices.

I feel like I’ve listened to every Scottish police series ever written. I’m a huge DCI Logan fan. This new series is exceptionally well written. The plot had unexpected twists and the characters are so likable and believable that you get completely drawn in. I can’t wait for the next book. This was fantastic listen!

Personally I think a so called procedural that features a senior police offer with no concept of the law is a bit outdated. Bits that were cute in book 1 are overdone in this one, making the characters 1 dimensional stereotypes. Didn’t even make it to the halfway point.
