the MC is a soulless number machine with no character depth. everything he does works. there is no development of the world. this is supposed to be witty or humorous but beyond the first chapter it doesn't exist.

the soulless summoning

MC gets everything right in the first try. Everything he buys is really expensive but justified for the quality (which is said over and over). Nothing goes wrong. There is never any conflict to actually overcome. I enjoyed the narrator … wish he had more to work with.

It feels 50 / 50 on whether I continue to book 2. It also feels like this is going towards a harem story, which rarely ends with good character building. The cherry on top is an MC who loses common sense at the end of the book.
