How rare to experience such honesty from a public figure. We all wonder, “why me?” from time to time. This author didn’t give up until she found the answer.

This fascinating, brave, and intimate exploration of a personal journey, as told through the eyes of one deeply involved in modern entertainment & journalism, is inspiring. It opened my eyes to some inner workings of corporate show business, and an intersection of faith awakenings.

An inspirational book, God is love and the love is shared in this book. A few chapters brought tears to my eyes; rejection, discrimination is not easy to handle but when you know God and his son Jesus our Savior it protect us and guide us through it all. Yes, I recommend But First God.

I am so glad I have listened to changed this book by Julie. It is an amazing story of her life and how she changed once she accepted Christ!
She is a disciple of Christ in every way, and she is the typical nonbeliever beforehand even though she may have been in the limelight, and the rest of us may not. She was still a child of Christ when she accepted Him! Take the time to listen to this one. It’s awesome!
