An unputdownable locked-room thriller about family, trust, and survival from the acclaimed author of the “utterly thrilling” (Lisa Jewell, #1 New York Times bestselling author) First Born.

When Caz steps onboard the exclusive cruise liner RMS Atlantica, it’s the start of a vacation of a lifetime with her new love, Pete. On their first night they explore the ship, eat, dance, make friends, but when Caz wakes the next morning, Pete is missing.

And when she walks out into the corridor, all the cabin doors are open. To her horror, she soon realizes that the ship is completely empty. No passengers, no crew, nobody but her. The Atlantica is steaming into the mid-Atlantic and Caz is the only person on board. But that’s just the beginning of the terrifying journey she finds herself trapped on in this white-knuckled mystery. Psicológico Suspenso Thriller y Suspenso Thrillers Nacionales Emocionante Ficción

Like the passengers, I stayed in the game, believing that the reader would be rewarded in the end. If the author's intent was to make his readers experience the misery of the passengers as well as the grossly insufficient hope of a decent reason to continue, then he hooked me. My brain felt abused by the time it ended.

Felt like passenger #6

This book was slow and I did not like the characters. I stayed with it because another reviewer said there was an amazing twist at the end. The “twist” was not worth the time spent on this book.

Almost a DNF

The premise is wild, but with the way society is today -- totally possible. I got aggravated at Caz's overwhelming empathy and feelings of being responsible for everything and everyone all the time. That said the characters were really well developed. The ending is astounding, really clever -- enuff said cuz you need to experience it for yourself. I will definitely try more Will Dean books!

Best Ending of 2024 - so far...

The motivations of the main characters were constantly in flux, not very believable. I liked the beginning but the middle and ending were not enjoyable.

Good beginning, poor middle and end

It’s decent. Unrealistic at times, but the twists were enough to keep me interested. It doesn’t have that “I need to know what happens next” aspect, but it was engaging enough to for me to want to know the ending. It’s not something I would read again.
