Overall a great production from everyone involved. The story was always a favorite from Mr. King's brain. The narration was excellent and overall was extremely enjoyable.

Tommy Knockers is a little slow at tge first chapter BUT Holy Cow it was such an immersive book, I couldn't stop listening. The narrator or Storyteller was really soothing yet kept you listening and knew when to switch up tone of voice. Definitely will find myself relistening but going to give my mind a break since it just exploded with this tale.

So much of this book is made up of specific and shocking details, King surely had informants, the ships material an alloy of Beryllium, something only used on real spacecraft after 1992, years after this book was published. Shameful facts about world governments their cover-ups of Nuclear mishaps and poisoning of their citizens while denying everything. Critical of nuclear power and potential accidents of catastrophic impact, fears Then and since, proven valid. Advanced interstellar craft of Nonhuman Intelligences laying dormant for thousands of years untill discovered underground and excavated. An Astronomically Advanced Species with the power to develop a species cognitive capabilities so as to use them as intelligent labor. This books is so rich with fact the story itself is secondary and a tool for information delivery. It is no wonder this book is underrated, there is no way this book sits well with Government. It is obvious why a so many reviews of this book are negitive, attempts to influence readers to forgoe this book and the truth it contains. Just, READ IT... Listen

Edward Herrmann gives an amazing performance of this story. I give the whole book a full listen about once a year because I enjoy the voice acting (and story, obviously) so much.

I was astonished to see this wasn't one of the most popular Stephen King novels. I decided two months ago to dive into Stephen King and HP Lovecraft. This was the beginning of the binge and it set the perfect tone. The build up was long and enticing. It went exactly where I wanted it to and took great lengths to build every single character that deserved it; which was many. Very grateful I started my adventure with Tommyknockers 😊

Read this as a kid and revisited it now as an adult albeit in audible form….compelling and I really loved how the narrator told the story! One if my top 3 King books!

I think I've read/listened to 2/3 of his work and I don't think there's been a bad on yet (in my opinion anyway).
