I new relatively little of Greek mythology before starting this book. And can honestly say that as entertaining as the stories were, and as soothing and captivating Stephen Fry is as a narrator, I am immensely happy that these are mere myths. I highly recommend this thoroughly entertaining book to those with time on your hands to listen, and who have no fear of hearing a litany of sins committed by a mythical bunch of b@$tards.

Wow! What a bunch of b@$tards!

Stephen Fry has followed the tradition of ages in this retelling of the Greek myths. His storytelling is superb, really bringing the characters to life, adding a dash of that British wit which doesn’t feel out of place on Mount Olympus.

Outstanding... way more entertaining and meaningful when narrated by Stephen Fry. What a great story teller. You can nearly visualize what he says and how he says it.
There is a Greek myth that each of us can identify ourselves with in our daily life and behaviours.
