Publisher's summary

New York Times best-selling author Sylvain Reynard returns with the fourth installment of the beloved Gabriel's Inferno series.

When Gabriel and Julia Emerson first lay eyes on their newborn daughter, Clare, they realize life as they know it will never be the same. Gabriel has vowed to be a good father when he suddenly receives an invitation to give a series of lectures in Edinburgh, Scotland - an opportunity of high prestige - but that would mean leaving his wife and child in Boston. Hesitant to bring it up, he keeps the opportunity from Julia as long as he can, not knowing she has a secret of her own.

When a frightening situation arises that threatens their new family, both parents must make sacrifices. With the family in danger, the looming question remains: Will Gabriel pursue his lectureship in Edinburgh, leaving Julia and Clare vulnerable in Boston, or will he abandon the chance of a lifetime in order to ensure his family's safety?

Gabriel's Promise!

I really enjoyed this book. Terrific addition to the series! Gabriel and Julia welcome their new daughter Clare! He is wonderful helping an exhausted Julia! Julia is holding a secret. Gabriel too has a secret or two. He has been invited to Edinburgh University as guest lecturer. But then a scary thing happens. Does he reject the invitation to protect his family? The new narrator for this book was okay with male voices but not great with the females. they all sounded like old men.

Sylvain Reynard did not disappoint!

After several years of waiting, Gabriel’s Promise lives up to the same high standard of book one and two and in my opinion surpassed book three. I took the day off and read the whole book!! I’m excited that there were some open ended events that might lead to a book four!! Please make it so.

Continuation of Love & Life

Overall I found the book endearing. A continuation of love and life and it’s obstacles for Julian and Gabriel. The addition of Claire, and the balance of family and work life was beautifully written.

Most anticipated!

I’m not going to lie it’s been so long since I've read the trilogy but it’s Gabriel so why not indulge in some hot sensual reading again, Reynard’s style.

Every chapter made me warm up for what was yet to come and everything Gabriel’s came back to me. And actually add a little more of what I was missing.

Gabriel as a dad. His devotion to Clare was perfect like all the songs he chose ;) Loved his devotion to Julia as well and what Julia accomplish.

Loved the sense of family.

Everyone joining in to ease all Gabriel’s and Julia's issues/troubles.

This book didn’t disappoint in therms of story, some things are still yet to tell.

Family priorities, work drama in the Dante world,

stalkers and sisterhood flamingos :) captivated me.

Had some good laughs as well.

I hope this is to be continued.

Thank you Sylvain Reynard for taking this journey for us

Amazing book, beautifully written, with passion…

This was one of the best series I have ever read. It is beautifully written and has beautiful quotes in it.

The only negative I have with this particular book is that it doesn’t go into as much detail like the others did. There are so many unanswered parts. It was almost like setting up this amazing in depth book, and then deciding that your bored and will just end the book in the next chapter. I could understand if there was going to be another book, but as for now all I’ve seen were spin offs. The mystery isn’t solved, characters aren’t mentioned anymore, old rivals still doing as they please. That was my only disappointment. I don’t regret spending a credit on this, and if you liked the other books then this one is worth listening too.
