While running in Central Park, New York Times science writer Damon Ellis crashes—literally—into a story that just might resurrect his career… and change the course of human history. On the face of it, it seems absurd—a small biotech company in Boston called Calypso that claims to have cracked the secret of eternal youth. Surely a hoax. Or is it?

Desperate for a career-defining story, Damon becomes obsessed with this mysterious company and risks it all, including his marriage, on a dangerous quest into the secretive world of life extension. But the further he goes to reveal the truth, the more he finds those who would conspire to keep him silent.

From the creators of the hit podcasts Passenger List and The Cipher comes Young Blood, a heart-pounding psychological thriller infused with black comedy starring Geoffrey Arend (500 Days of Summer, Garden State), Annie Parisse (How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days), Jon Gabrus, and Theo Ogundipe.

Filled with mind-bending twists and turns and inspired by real-life science, Young Blood is a full cast Audible Original.

Amazing amazing!

Great book! The voice acting on point and the chase, definitely worth the listen. The fact that it’s all base on conspiracy theory. Makes you think is it true?

Wow! An Explosion of Mental Turmoil

Seriously the mental jump ropes played out in this series are astronomical.

This story can make you double think about anything or at least ask what if...?

Interesting and Fun

This was an interesting and fun listen. I initially planned on listening to the first episode but ended up listening to every episode straight through to the end. I don't like spoilers so I'll be vague. We get some science, some history, some philosophy, psychology, aspects of social media, workplace issues, personal and relationship issues, a touch of politics, good humor and more. It was an all around fun and interesting listening experience. Narration was good. The performance was good. The story was good. I encountered an issue with static crackling that I'm unsure if it was on my end from a bad connection, corrupted download or an issue with the title on their side. Overall good listen.

Main character is unlikeable

The performance is great, but the main character isn't very bright, often a bad friend, a liar, has no perspective, and is basically an adult-child. I had my doubts halfway through, but it turned out well, I like the ending.
