Publisher's Summary

Mandy Hale, the creator of The Single Woman, the social media movement that rewrote the rule book about singleness, challenges every woman to see that she is sufficient, acceptable, and complete.

After years of trying to prove she was enough in the world's eyes, even working alongside Oprah and hitting the New York Times best-seller list, Mandy hit rock bottom. But as it turned out, that very rock bottom became the most firm foundation on which she had ever planted her feet. A foundation so solid, it finally provided the springboard she needed to outrun the taunting shadow of unworthiness she'd tried to escape her whole life.

Now, she wants listeners to see that though life may not always be lighthearted and happy and shiny, each woman is deserving of the life she dreams of and for which she hopes. Nothing listeners do can ever take away from their worthiness or enough-ness in God's eyes.

This audiobook is for any woman who wants to overcome heartbreak, claim her healing, and step into wholeness!

Critic Reviews

"Even though Mandy is known by millions for being the inspirational voice for single women, this book is a must-read for all adults, regardless of their marital status. In her unique heartfelt and authentic way, she shares her latest emotional journey in the pursuit of true love and personal fulfillment and reminds us that stumbling, crying, doubting, thinking, laughing, and learning along the way is expected. It's real, which means you're real - and that you have been, and always will be, enough." (Amy Capetta, health and wellness writer)

"I love Mandy for being transparent enough to go deep into the hidden places we don't want anyone to see. Baring her flaws, her hurts, and her soul give me the courage to face the imperfect things I hide behind my smile. Mandy is the only author I know who fearlessly tackles the question Why are we still single? She goes beyond the tired clichés and gets to the root of the problem and shows you how to get back up even when you constantly get knocked down. The words coming from Mandy's heart are like a soothing balm. Thank you for showing me no matter what, I am enough." (Sherri Shepherd, actress, comedian, Emmy Award-winning talk show host and New York Times best-selling author)

"This book literally made me both smile and cry. But mostly it made me feel understood. Less alone in this world. Mandy Hale writes in the voice of a dear, kind friend, filled with encouragement and urging the courage we all need to soldier on in life. Everyone's circumstances are unique, but You Are Enough contains a strong message of not giving up no matter who you are or where you are in life. I will be recommending this book to everyone!" (Beth Harbison, New York Times best-selling author)

Reads like a memoir

This book leans more towards memoir than self-help. I'm not sure it is wise to give others advice without working out your own issues. This should be marketed differently or the title needs to be changed.

Too much Jesus

I’m an atheist, I wish the descriptions had mention the religious underlining of this book. NOT what I was looking for.

Encouraging and Relatable

Encouraging and relatable for those who are broken and suffer with depression and anxiety on a day to day basis. A good reminder that you are not alone.

Too juvenile

Extremely elementary. Good for young girls who need basic pep talks on self-esteem/love. I definitely expected more. I actually could not fiinish!

Exactly what I needed.

This is the 2nd book I have read by Mandy Hale and quite honestly the only 2 books I have read in my entire 47 years of living. This book really inspired me and taught me that I am enough. I have finally given my life back to God and although I still have my struggles god is walking beside me. I recommend this book to anyone who has had so much heartache and no self worthy, take it all in and realize that you are indeed enough. Thank you Mandy Hale for yet another inspiring book.

It was ok

This was more about the author life experience and didn’t really provide a lot of inspiration for me.

Couldn't finish

Expected more. Not really a self help book. The author repeated "you are enough" but that's about it.

Met me right where I am

This book is for anyone needing to be reminded that God made them exactly how He wanted them to be. Life is hard but we are enough as long as we keep our eyes on Jesus!

More of a biography

Though I found the book comforting and uplifting as I can relate to the writer’s situations and feelings, I felt I was reading someones daily diary at times, long descriptions of days and situations that had no real purpose or point

I loved this book

I loved this book and I listened to it over two nights. Mandy has a gift for writing and expressing herself authentically from the heart. Thank you, Mandy for so openly sharing your experiences of heartbreak, rejection, loss, mental illness, healing and recovery. I'm dealing with similar experiences and I got so much out of this book. It helped me to understand myself and accept some of the things that have happened to me in my life.

Beautiful

So easy to listen too and beautifully written.
Although Mandy is Christian, she doesn’t force her religion down the listeners throat.
She speaks beautifully about her transformation and ongoing journey to feel enough in a relatable way that feels like having a conversation with a friend.
