Publisher's summary

After Olivia and Chief Rawlings enjoy an all too brief honeymoon on Palmetto Island, they're joined by the rest of the Bayside Book Writers for the Legends of Coastal Carolina Festival. The event's highlight is Silas Black, celebrity screenwriter and television producer, who is currently working on a popular television show in North Carolina.

As the festival gets under way, a prankster seems to be bringing famous local ghost stories to life. But when the body of a woman close to Black is found on the beach, Olivia and her friends must deduce who on the island could resort to murder - before the sands of time run out for someone else....

Fantastic....again

Elderly Adams has a gift. Her stories are original in every sense of the word. The characters are well developed and the settings are completely unique.

Great read!

Great Light Series

I started this series of books a year ago and have enjoyed them all. They are a very light easy listen. The author creatively weaves several stories, a bit of history, and homey comforts into each tale. I would recommend them for a summer beach read.

Another home run in this wonderful series!

I adore this series so much, the brilliant writing of Ellery Adams is perfectly narrated by Karen White. Each and every character in this series is so well developed & has a solid story line all their own. By the time you get to this book (if you start the series at book 1, which I recommend), you feel like you are a part of the Bayside book club. The way Olivia passionately cares and advocates for those who are murdered makes her very relatable. But the best part of this series is that the entire plot is relatable and realistic. The stories told & murders that take place have solid history behind them, and the way everything unfolds isn't far fetched at all. Often times cozy mysteries keep a simple cookie cutter plot that is highly implausible. That's not what you will get with this; you will walk away feeling like you read sometning meaningful.

This particular story is just as wonderful & delivers like all the rest. I enjoyed seeing the bayside book club go away from oyster bay & solve a "vacation murder" so to speak. It was a fresh twist. However it continued all their story lines & weaved it in perfectly. I don't want to include too many specifics in case someone hasn't read this series yet, but please do yourself a huge favor & use a credit for this. You won't regret it!

Best one so far

This story had a lot of twists and turns,a lot of characters and a lot of suspense. I'm glad I decided to stick with this series.

Olivia needs some counseling...

I still enjoy the series, but, I found Olivia to be getting a little neurotic, and easily angered! She needs to relax and not feel that everyone needs to tell her everything, while she may keep things to herself!

Disappointing

Not nearly as strong as the other Bayside books. Big stretches and leaps to connect all the dots of the mystery. Disappointing. Felt like the author's heart was not in this book.
