Concise and useful
I just finished listening to this audiobook. The information was presented in a concise - to the point - manner - something that most books on writing lack. One can easily use the chapters' names as index cards to go back and relisten to specific topics during their writing process. The chapters are not long and are not overflown with information. The author talks only about the most important principles of each selected topic. This helps to understand better and then remember the provided advice. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to write their life story. I may purchase the printed version of it as well.

Excellent information well laid out
Steve presents his book in a way that will help you achieve your goals in a structured way. I’m a beginner writer with little experience but a desire and passion for my story to be shared with others to help them through their life stories. This book allowed me to plan my beginning steps and careful think through all areas. From book design, to dialogue, to jogging my memory of childhood favorite toys....this book is a definite must read if you are wanting to write a biography or autobiography. I encourage you to take a listen! Tip: have a paper and pen handy to begin that writers notebook he speaks of while listening. You’ll begin thinking of a lot! Happy reading!!

Very inspiring
I think I may need to listen again when I am finished with my book before the editing process. He makes the book writing process seem non threatening with simple instructions and advice! I can’t wait to send him a copy of my autographed book :-)
