Cute and sexy....terrific beach read

If you have read my reviews before you know I have favorite MC series. This is what I consider a pseudo MC book. The attraction is instant between Corbin and Maura. It is fast moving and sexy. It is an easy listen. I gave it four stars because it did hold my interest somewhat.... the narration was good ..... and it filled up what would of otherwise been a boring car ride!

great great story touchy vocals

love the story it was really great but the vocals kept cutting in and out and you would miss parts of the story it took awhile to figure out what they were saying during the parts that was missing

dont like narrator

im sire the story is good and will prob try to buy the book to read but i couldnt stand the girl narrators voice so didn't get past chapter 3.

Loved!!

I thought they moved a little quickly in the beginning, but their relationship developed well afterwords, despite their problems. Definitely worth a credit. An easy listen for when you are doing housework! ;)

This is my first audio book. Thank you Abby McCarthy for picking me as the winner of your audio code thus paving the way for me to enjoy this.. I love the different emotions you brought up in me while listening to your book. I had to pause the narration a lot of times because I had to process the scene while tears are free falling from my eyes. Again, MARAMING SALAMAT. ( Thank you very much in my very own Filipino language).

I would have to read this to enjoy it. The narrator was terrible. So bad that she made the story sound lame.

SOUL MATES... BUT THEY LOVED THEN HURT EACH OTHER

Be prepared because Maura and Corbin's romance is instant and their feelings and passions all happen very very quickly but these two characters know exactly what they want.... and it's each other. It starts off as a sweet love story but soon there's gang threats, violence, deaths, the daunting dynamics of the MC characters, a jealous MC member and through it all the two lovers are inseparable. But insecurities start to creep in when Maura returns to the base with Corbin and she starts to suspect he's keeping secrets but when she overhears two different conversations it rocks her world, shatters her dreams and her heart..... all in one night.

Despite the very quick romance there's a vulnerability with both main likeable characters and you can't help but feel their heartache and pain when things go terribly wrong. There's sex, dirty talking, drama, angst, secrets, misunderstandings, a deeply regretted betrayal and this makes for a roller coaster ride for your emotions. And, as joy turns into heartache and their love is tested to it's limits, all you can do is hold on and hope that they get their elusive HEA..... but the chances unfortunately look bleak.

Worth a credit? Dual POV's, narrator was ok and the story built and built to a climactic, heartbreaking and gut-wrenching ending..... so YES, IMO, creditworthy. But, if you're not a fan of the initial 'instant connection quickly followed by instant lust, sex and love' start to a story then pass on this because you'll be rolling your eyes at first but you'll sadly miss the suspense, romance and a traumatic reunion. Me.... well I'm just an easygoing romantic.

Wreck you

It definitely wrecks you! Absolutely love this book and the audible. Perfect narrator for their voice in my opinion. It flew with the book. You most definitely have to try it. I loved it.

Not the best read, but not the worst. Decent story with some twists, good ending.
