I thoroughly enjoyed the story. The vivid descriptions allowed me to visualize the characters and the setting with great clarity. The narrator's skillful delivery brought the book to life, enhancing my overall reading experience.

There was enough plot make the brutality somehow understandable and forgivable too...I guess. The writing was good and so was Dick Hill's narration.

I got the bridged version. Way better than the long version. Don't know why an author thinks a lot of words will make it a good book. One of the better Reacher books.
