they are really well written stories. but they could take place in most fantasy realms. nothing about this screamed warcraft to me. still a nice listen though

Narrative Immersion

Over loved this collective of wonderful stories. My only found challenge with offering a perfect 5 stars on performance is the fact the Narrator did not change with the stories. Don’t get me wrong, they did an awesome job but it was difficult to really immerse myself in the stories when it came the the varying character demographics when they all sounded nearly the same with only minor changes in elocution, enunciation, or intonation.

Great listen & narration!

I loved this collection! The stories were all so different from one another and really interesting and they had a lot of meaning. I particularly like this narrator- her voice is smooth and expressive and she brings so much emotion and life to the varied characters. GREAT listen!

Amazing Stories.

I enjoyed all of these stories, so much fun to hear some of the races of Azeroth folk tales and some history thrown in as well. However, Visage Day, the last sorry in the book was probably my favorite.

I only have one complaint and it isn’t big enough to knock the score down. The issue is that the narrator did not have all of the correct pronunciations for some key characters and locations. I can’t understand why Blizzard wouldn’t provide something to the narrators/producer to ensure that they are said properly.

Either way, I enjoyed this so very much.

Don't waste your credits

Horrible, I want a refund... all stories are too short, and pointless. with the rich lore of World of Warcrat and interesting clans and side stories that could be told and we are left with this. sad...

Extremely Boring

If you're a diehard WOW fan, then you will probably like this book. I am not a hard-core fan or an aficionado and I found this book exceedingly boring. The stories it encompasses definitely fit the description of folklore and fairytales, and I think I was disappointed because I was expecting action and adventure, which none of these stories are.

inaccurate and bland

Often doesn't even make sense whatsoever within the Lore, not even as a "tale told by..." beyond that the few decent stories are still quite generic and fits any vague fantasy realm, doesnt bring any substance or flair to any established lore. disappointing. voice actors did a fine job, though.
