Nineteen-year-old Jewels is one of the Midwest's most wanted. Good story but..
I enjoyed this book for the most part, Ikane's narration has to grow on me every time I come across her work...the story was fine, there were a few chapters towards the end where I felt that the writer was just over this book, long drawn out chapters about nothing at all but he finished with a bang..I would recommend.

Kept my interest
I’m not really into urban literature or street novels, but I enjoy a good story even if it’s hood every now and again. The storyline kept my interest, the narration with different voices helped to follow the story.

The villains are terrifying! The story is very addictive and I couldn’t wait to hear more.
