Lovely

This story is sweet and a little steamy. The gentle build of the romantic tension was lovely. I enjoyed the magical setting and characters a lot. Gentle devotion is so dreamy.

Really sweet book!

I really enjoyed this book, it was sweet with a dash of villainy. The narration was perfect.

A good romantasy

Enjoyable characters, interesting world, mildly spicy story. I liked both of the main characters and felt both were fairly realistic. An overall good book, I do recommend it.

This is well written and has a good plot. It’s still pretty middle of the road for me. I don’t think I will continue the series but that’s just because I’m afraid I may smother beneath the weight of my current TBR

Wasted potential

The idea behind the story was something to get lost to. However the writing was terrible. The story probably would’ve flourished with a different writer. The dialog was made me DNF. It just rang as disingenuous, flat, and not how real people talk. It was trying too hard to be something it could not pull off.
