Mac, Tru & a hurricane...what can go wrong?

This series never ceases to impress me...this time, a hurricane is bearing down on the Keys and Mac & Mel are forced to evacuate Woods Island. Meanwhile, Tru is up to his usual shenanigans but things take a serious turn when the gang is forced to evade a dirty treasure hunter. Bugara knows that Mac has the research from Bugara’s deceased accomplice and can locate a huge treasure. He’s desperate enough to kidnap Justine and Allie, Kurt Hunter’s wife and daughter, to force Mac’s hand. Yes...Kurt and family have a cameo in this book. I kept wishing that we’d get to hear Martinez yelling at Hunter...but alas, I’ll just have to wait for the next Kurt Hunter book! I love how the author uses historical facts and references as the back story for Mac’s adventures and was intrigued by Fort Jefferson. In spite of a hurricane, corrupt official and a bad guy...Mac, his sidekick and friends survive...until the next adventure!

another great adventure

I would love to see these books made into a mini TV series. I think it would be a big hit!

Mac Travis does it again!

What a great book! Becker does a great job mixing Mac Travis with Kurt Hunter in this cross-over story about long missing (but not forgotten) treasure and the lengths some people will go to have it. Excellent story, the performance was top-notch and I’m now anxiously awaiting the next book!

Okay if I could give this book 10 stars I would!! The author is one of my favorites. I listened to this one out of order for the Mac Travis series but if wraps up the Kurt hunter series. Amazing!!!!
