Fire for God!!!

Words cannot express how much these stories blessed me. Many times throughout the book I had to stop and pray, unable to hold back my tears for my sisters’ sufferings. I also wept with a burning desire to love and serve the Lord with such fervency, and thirst for his Word as they did. I was convicted for taking my freedom for granted and all that I had at my disposal here in the states. Praise God for taking the risk to record these precious testimonies…

So powerful!!

I do chores around the house like laundry and dishes while I listen to audiobooks. This might be one of the few times that I couldn’t wait to get work done around the house! These stories are so eye-opening from my comfortable suburban house in America with my loving husband. I think the Doyles for sharing these impactful stories of how Jesus is changing lives around the world.

good thing it's an audio book, so I didn't have to put it down. It was so exciting that I could listen to it while doing my long runs. Its inspirational and makes you think differently of the women who live in Islam. My prayer life has changed too. I really couldn't recommend this enough. Don't think this is just a book for women either.

Convicted and Inspired

Women who risk became one of my favorite books. I couldn’t quit listening to the stunning recounts of visions, acceptance of Christ, their willingness to lay all on the line for Christ - now their first love. I couldn’t help but yearn even more deeply for their fervor to catch fire here in the west among Christians. I teach Bible studies where it would start off packed and midway through a series it would’ve dropped by 50%. Everyone always had something else more pressing to do. But these women risk their lives just to get to Bible studies. My heart applauds them on, while grieving for us and our apathy. God bless these MBBs. I will always be praying for them as a result of this book.

This book had me captivated from the very first Chapter. Beautiful and inspiring, as well as educational.

One of the best books I've ever read!

Life changing story if the power of Jesus! He is pursuing hearts more than we know. Jesus is faithful in His love for all people! I am praying for a bold faith!

A big disappointment.

The stories are interesting but that's also where the good things with this book ends. For me it's so hard to see that this is words from people in the Middle east. The story is told from an american perspective and I see them as condescending. It's also like the author is glorifying to be a martyr. The reading was over all a big disappointment.

This book is filled with inspiring stories. It brought me closer to Jesus, I won’t forget it.

Incredibly inspiring! Excellently narrated! Divine fingerprints all over it! Opens your eyes to see what God is doing in the Islamic world right now and how we can be His change agents.
