Linda Tschirhart Sanford
Drawing on extensive research, the authors explain how women's self-attitudes are shaped by family relationships, schools, religion, the workplace, and the media. Then, with compassion and insight, they provide specific suggestions and step-by-step exercises for building higher self-esteem—and ultimately, for living a truly healthy, fulfilling life.©1984 Linda Tschirhart Sanford, Mary Ellen Donovan; (P)1992 Penguin HighBridge Audio

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
A comment was made in this book about stating "So What" when you found yourself talking about something to put yourself down etc. Well I think that phrase sums up the book too. I was disappointed, I didn't learn anything I didn't already know or haven't already heard. The narration was rather drab and I found it difficult to even stay focused enough to pay attention or even having the desire to. I think having more information and more direction on improving self esteem as well as having another narrator would of made this book better.Would you be willing to try another one of Linda Tschirhart Sanford’s performances?
