Once he was a valued key operative in Canada's special forces. It has been months since Logan escaped the secret research complex in the Canadian Rockies where he was held captive, breaking through punishing psychological conditioning, slaughtering all those who stood in his way, and fleeing into the wilderness. Now, at the clandestine agency known as Department K, the director of the Weapon X program decides it's time to reclaim the most successful experiment for his group.

But before Weapon X is to be brought in, the director opts to present Logan with a few more challenges to see how this modern-day Frankenstein's monster has adapted to its new abilities - and he magnifies the intensity of the external threat in order to gauge Logan's full potential....

Possible movie?

When they recast the character this would make a interesting back-story type movie. Actor did a good job.

Not my favorite in the series.

It got a little weird and off into the weeds. had some sad moments. spent more time agonizing over the villagers and their passivism which ultimately blew up in their faces. It makes a good case for keeping firearms for protection. It also took a huge chunk of the story to track the military career of one main character, which sort of fizzled out, leaving me scratching my head.
But that was all overshadowed by a particularly intimate moment that quickly turned nightmarish. All i could think ...all i CAN think... is "Poor Logan got majorly catfished!!"

could have been better. could have been a lot worse. i don't regret spending the credit or the time.

Not bad ..

I had pretty low expectations going into this but overall I actually enjoyed it. A different spin on wolverines origin story (or an addition) but still pretty good. Wasn't crazy about the narrator but the story held me pretty entertained

I enjoyed it

My only issue is that I can’t seem to find another Wolverine book by Marc. If you like comic books and you enjoy Wolverine, you’ll like this.

Excellent book

The story is excellent. Wolverine is one of my favorite heroes and I believe this story did really well telling of Weapon X.
