Publisher's summary

Orphaned. Abandoned. Raised by unsuspecting humans.

Detective Nate Rollins knows he's different. With better hearing, better eyesight, and an uncanny intuition, he excels in his job. And struggles to appear normal.

Then a woman climbs into his SUV and begs for help. As a cop, he's duty-bound to protect her from the men chasing her.

But she's not quite human.

And she insists he isn't human, either.

WOLF AND MATE

THIS STORY REALLY DRAGS YOU IN THE WORLD OF THE SUPERNATURAL, NATHAN MEETS A YOUNG WOMAN WHOM HAPPENS TO BE A WEREWOLF AND HIS MATE, AFTER WATCHING THE MASSACRE OF MOST OF HER PACK AND FAMILY JANELLE IS ON THE RUN.
YOU WILL ENCOUNTER CAT SHIFTERS SUCH AS PANTHERS AND COUGARS. THIS STORY HAD MORE SUSPENSE THAN THE TALA RIDGE SERIES AND IS SWEET AND CLEAN AS WELL. THERE IS A MUSIC MOVEMENT WITH A CALM WOLF'S HOWL AT THE BEGINNING OF EVERY CHAPTER. I FOUND THAT TO BE UNIQUE AND I LOVE THE PART WHERE THE WOLF AND MAN CAN SEPARATE TO ALLOW THE WOLF TO PROTECT AND THE HUMAN TO SLEEP. I ENJOYED THIS BOOK AND CANNOT WAIT FOR MORE.! NARRATION WAS REALLY GOOD. THE NARRATORS MAKE A GREAT TEAM.

Great addition

Great story with beltway characters. Once I started listening I couldn't stop.
I was given a copy to listen to and I voluntarily leave this review.

Good beginning to a series

This is the first book I have read by this author. An unforeseen twist early on. The rest of the book provided background for the development of the Texas pack.

Great Beginning of a series

I love The Texas Ranch Wolf Pack Series. I own every book on Kindle and reread them all the time. I got the audible version this week. It was so fun! I teach high school and was able to listen to the book as I graded math papers. What a wonderful way to get things done. Loved the book.

Horrible

Normally I just rate titles by the stars and move on, but I feel SO COMPELLED to let everyone know that this book was so very bad. The storyline wasn't thought out at all, the narration was atrocious, and there was absolutely zero world building on which you could continue the series. Bad bad bad.
