I read 3 out of 4 books in this series. The story is well paced and keeps you engaged. Where things went a little off the rails was with the male narrator. He barely differentiated the male voices unless he made the character have a truly silly voice. At one point I started cracking up because he went from sounding like a William Shatner impression to sounding like a bad Trump impression. I literally could not stop laughing (and this was especially during the spicy scenes). I can’t with this guy 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.
The female narrator was decent but her male voice sounded like a 13 year old boy going through puberty.
I couldn’t keep listening and was done after the 3rd book.
If you can get past these things, it’s a decent story. Oh but the author just shoehorns some Greek mythology in the middle of the story, just making it more ridiculous.

Interesting story

As mentioned in my first review, I appreciate that every main character isn’t just a photocopy of the next one. Each has their own quirks and perspective. Like last time, I like that this kept me interested, so much that I revisited both books again.

That being said, I won’t be purchasing the next book in the series. The plot is getting sort of muddy. There are now trolls, demons, witches, were foxes, etc involved. I lose interest when the writer starts throwing too many supernaturals at me, and this was a struggle to finish.

I also find that the lead male characters, who are supposed to be community leaders, weren’t strong at all. They kept promising safety but kept letting their community be harmed. They seemed too wimpy to be protectors.

Still worth the credit for sure 👍🏼

Like Book 1, another ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me

Great listen. You know it’s good when your on pins and needles to get to the next book. Definitely worth the credit. If you love wolves and other mystical beings this is for you. If hot and heavy stuff is not your thing I don’t recommend! It has some Heavy stuff in it for sure.

Fun and sexy
