Book that sets up the rest of series

Even though it was a little slow, I still enjoyed the book. I may have thought some jokes were funnier than they were suppose to be but they spoke to my sense of humor. The narrator I think portrayed the character well. There was a few little tidbits that you could hear background noise which was a little odd I am excited for the next book though. I feel that the story getting more in depth at the end.

Perfect Narrator!

The narrator matched Alex’s dry wit and voice so perfectly. She did a great job with the other voices in the story as well.

The story itself was really enjoyable. I loved Alex’s humor and inner dialogue as well as how she deals with the things fate has thrown at her. An amazing first book that gives you just enough information to lead into the second book.

The narrator that Blak chose for this book was perfect. Bermudez really brought to life this book to life and get a 360 perspective of this world that has Blak created. Within the Crystal is the first in a new series that is gypsy inspired and takes the best of that world and combines it with other elements. Alexandrite has been minding her own business and doing life as best she can. Until four guys walk into the shop from the local university and turn her life upside down. No more taking it easy and hiding in the shadows as a seer. She is about to get awakened in more then one way.
Jasper, Tek, Cal and Nunu the four guys are about to turned her life upside down completely and reveal hidden truths about this world.

Discovieries that may changed the course of the history and Alex isn't sure what to do. Alex is one of my favourite discoveries this year. She is young and still finding her way but she has a gift that delves into a world that is still reality untapped in the world of RH. Alex may be a sloth spiritally but she isn't afraid to take charge when it counts and this book shows how crystal can be utilized. The drama and the romance with the guys was interesting . and it will be interesting to see how this plays out in the second book given that Alex made some head ways with her chosen path. Blak really explored the world of seers and more authentically with a creative license and I can't wait to learn more

Loved it!

I absolutely adored this audiobook! The narrator did a great job on the audio! I fell completely in love with all the amazing characters and the wonderfully unique storyline! There are so many surprises, and I loved every one of them! I cannot wait for book 2.

So Good!

I have read other things by this author and was looking for a short audiobook to listen to while I was doing some things around the house. This one did not disappoint. The only sad thing is that the next book is not out yet! I cannot wait to see what happens next in this series. The story is addicting, the narrator is amazing, and the author is fabulous. I need the next book ASAP!

great book 1

Alex is trying to fulfill a task by mother nature and has 4 guys that need to assist her Cal. tec,NuNu and Jasper. Narrator did an excellent job

Intense Ride!!

Holy smokes this was such an intense read and it took a twist that I did not expect! I absolutely love that the further you got into the book the more you got to see more of Alex's powers and what all it is she can do. She is quite the interesting character and the development between the four guys that come into her life are incredible. However there is plenty of mystery and Alex sees something about these four guys and she has a path she has to help guide them down. There is a lot of hot tension between these characters and the further you get into the book the more things start to unravel.

I am excited to see what is going to come next for the series because they ending we were left with filled me with shock and disbelief. I would highly recommend you pick up the first in this series because it was such an intense ride filled with so much emotion and mystery. I can't give too much away but it was such an amazing ride you don't want to miss it!!

Christine Bermudez was an incredible narrator for this novel and I felt sucked in. She brings a new life to Alex and her men and I found myself flying through the book and needing more!

Super fun

I really enjoyed where this story went. I enjoyed meeting the guys and seeing how they all fit together. I enjoyed Alex's self doubt and her realness as a person as well as a seer. I can't wait to see what things with Andrew pan out to be!! look forward to more of the story.
