Jade strikes again

I love how Jade is responsible for those around her and at the same time has sass and attitude

Very Good!

This was the second book in the Jade Calhoun series and it was every bit as good as the first. It was a sit on the edge of your seat book! You weren't sure what was going to happen from one minute to the next and you didn't want to miss a second of it!! Very action filled and intense and I couldn't put it down! Looking forward to the next book!

Another great Jade book

This is book 2 for Jade's series and I really enjoyed it. Jade is beginning to learn how to use her witch magic, relationships are growing and friends and family need saving. A lot of action and determination. I'm looking forward to book 3!

EXCITING WITCH MYSTERY SERIES.

Exciting witch mystery series. I am really enjoying the story of Jade and the discoveries of her power. Her friends are interesting and lots going on in this story. l am sure you will be entertained like me. Recommended. Sexual content.

Weak main character

I really hope Jade grows a brain because being a stupid blond is getting old real fast. She takes forever to realize the obvious and doesn't listen when she is being instructed to do things right. It's like she is stupid or something. If she doesn't start acting like the powerful witch she is supposed to be I'm giving up on this series.

Predictablely uneventful

This is TERRIBLE. The main character gets constant context clues of what's going on with (X, Y) said characters and remains oblivious. Also, there's the reoccurring trend of rehashing the last book like the author needs to remind herself of the last story.

Oh and there's the fact that if someone's life is on the line and time is pressing. Then all of a sudden there's a sex scene. Most of the characters are relatable but Jade remains hopeless and oblivious. Seriously, I figured out what was going on pretty much by chapter 5 and so I just took the uneventful predictable ride til the end.

sorry, didn't like it

I just wanted this one to end. I even bought this second title hoping the story and world would improve but it just didn't. Spoiled whining mc, terrible narrarator with a nails on a chalk board voice. I mean why did she have to voice Kane to sound like a high pitched puke of a guy when he was clearly written as a hunk? Won't be buying the next one and can't recommend. Just all around lousy.

I really want to return it.

I really tried. I listened to the first one three times, back to back. Still can't remember much of anything from the story. There is nothing wring with it, per se. The narrator is quite good, the story should be engaging, and yet it isn't. I thought, maybe if the story progresses? But no. Background noise.
