Publisher's Summary

Lights, camera, assassin....

A Hollywood movie shoot comes to town and journalist Cendrine West is eager for a scoop. Her witchy family also wants in on the action, but shenanigans with the stars soon turn to Tinseltown tragedy.

Bodies are piling up faster than a coven's worth of curses, and everything points back to Cen's starstruck family. They will stop at nothing in their quest for supernatural stardom, even if that means meddling in a murder investigation.

The witches have created one spell of a mess and given the killer a chance to get away with murder. Cen resorts to her own blend of supernatural justice to keep her family in check, but can she unmask the killer before he strikes again?

Welcome to the wild, wild Wests!

Witch & Famous is for fans of a paranormal mystery, cozy mystery, and wickedly funny witches.

This book can be heard as a standalone mystery, but if you want to know more about the Westwick Witches and their family history, you can start with book one: Witch You Well.

Wild West!

When a Hollywood movie company comes to town to film a western movie with Aunt Amber as one of the stars things go from bad to worse for Cendrine West’s family in this zany murder mystery. Anything that involves witchcraft, crazy Aunt Pearl, Cen’s irritating ex and her ghostly granny it is a recipe for chaos and hilarity. Colleen Cross gives us another entertaining story with some fun twists, a good mystery and lots of laughs. Petrea Burchard always does a wonderful job with all the voices and you never have to wonder who is speaking. I am pleased to recommend this third book in the Westwick Witches Cozy Mystery Series. This book was given to me for free and I provided this unbiased review.

I'm Ready For My Closeup!

Westwick goes Hollywood in this latest chapter of the Westwick Witches saga. Being a witch may be glamorous and fun, but it doesn't pay the bills; so Aunt Amber entices a director to bring his crew to the sleepy town for some location shooting. Murder and mayhem commence. Petrea Burchard provides an amazing range of voices as she narrates this lighthearted and entertaining tale (which is comfortably standalone).

There making a movie here?

Another great book in this series This series just gets better each time i go on an adventure with Cen and her crazy aunts. This book was no exception. There making an action movie in town, Aunt Amber is in the movie, Aunt Pearl wants to be in charge of props, the leading man wants everything his way and then he ends up dead. That is when the fun really begins. Everyone pointing fingers at each other. Then one of the suspects ends up dead. The mayor, Brayden, keeps threatening Tyler's job if he does not find the killer by certain time. So Cen and Tyler have to work together to find out who really did the murders. The narrator, Petrea Burchard, does a great job with each character. I can't wait to listen to the next book.

Witch & Famous

Aunt Amber is in town and for once Aunt Pearl will have a run for her money over who gets all the attention. Of course Amber is as much of a drama queen as Pearl. Amber has brought a movie crew to town to give the town a boost. (Or so everyone thinks). But her friend and costar ends up dead. And Cen’s ex Braden is putting himself front and center demanding Tyler arrest someone for the murder. (Tyler should arrest him for interference of an investigation). I love that Cen gets to work with Tyler to help solve this case since he mostly knows her secrets know. And I was so proud of Cen doing spells this time! I was so nice getting to know Aunt Ambers character. Great job on the narration!

Such a fun listen!

I am loving this series! Aunt Pearl with her antics and what she says has me laughing out loud. I get pulled into the stories of these quirky characters, mystery, and unexpected twists. The narration on this book was awesome, and I loved how each character had their own distinctive voice. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. Colleen Cross and Petrea Burchard make an awesome combination. I will definitely listen to more of their books.

Great addition to the Westwick witches cozy mystery series!

I have enjoyed this cozy mystery series so much! I would suggest starting with book one so that you can be well acquainted with the characters. Poor Cendrine, her family is always trying to get in her way or interfere with murder investigations! Narration is excellent and brings the story to life! Here you will find crazy aunt Pearl, which is one of my favorite characters! She is a hoot! There is also an annoying ex-boyfriend, ghostly grandma, and an attention seeking aunt Amber! This series is so entertaining and fun with unexpected twists and turns and delivered with lots of laughter! Excellent Author and amazing narrator! I’m really looking forward to the next book in this fun Cozy mystery!

Another treat in store!

Another mystery solved! Another great story! If you loved aunt Pearl with all her whimsical attitudes and behaviors, you’re in for a treat! You get to meet her sister Amber who, I just might have to say, is even worse! I gave the narrator 4 stars because I felt she didn’t quite pull of the voice for younger characters. Other than that! Well done!

Light! camera! Death!

This is my third book in the WWCM series and I've listened to them all pretty close together. They are all really well written and I love all of the characters. The aunts are hilarious and I really like the fact that the heroine Cen is not a very good witch. It makes her more realistic somehow. I like a character with flaws. This one for me was 4 stars because I wasn't really grabbed by the whole movie set scenario. But I'm sure that's just me so don't let that put you off. The narrator is superb though - the voices she uses are perfect for the characters. I can wholeheartedly recommend this series.

Highly likable cozy mystery story

I listened to this on audiobook. I'll be the first to admit that I don't usually read Cozy mysteries, however this four part book series appealed to me because of the Witches and magic contained within said stories. So because of that I decided to give the first book "Witch You Well" a go and I'm very glad that I did. So it was a no brained to continue on with the series. So book 3 Witch & Famous has probably been my least favourite of the series so far, not sure why, I just didn't get the same feeling as I did with the other two books. It might have been because there was too much going on and far too many new characters which i guess one expects when story is set around a film set. It was full on action and entertaining still though. I thoroughly enjoyed being reacquainted with the characters of Cen, Pearl, Ruby and the Sheriff again. I wasn't highly keen on aunt Amber who had a bigger part to play in this book, I just didn't gel with her like I did with the other main characters. One thing I really did like thouģh, was that Cen is finally practising her use of spells more, but she's still got a little way to go yet. So all in all, this has still been a likable story and i am very much looking forward to to reading book 4, which is the last book to the series.

Witchy family fun, brilliant story

This certainly is a well written story, full of laughs, fun, and even a murder thrown into the melle too. I really enjoyed this light hearted read. Colleen Cross certainly has the correct recipe to entertain her readers. The characters are easily recognisable and fit the parts well, The narrator really brings this book too life.

Another great Cozy Mystery

Another great Westwick Witches tale. Hollywood comes to town and somehow Aunt Amber has landed a leading role. Cendrine suspects witchcraft is involved but hopes to land a scoop interviewing the famous actors. When the leading man is murdered there are plenty of suspects but when Aunt Amber is accused Cendrine is determined to find the killer.

3 is the magic number

I have really enjoyed listening to this series and getting to know the characters. Aunt Pearls bickering with her sisters, is completely relatable as I am one of three. I love the fact that each book has its own story so the books could be read out of order, yet the back story continues to grab and develop as you progress through the series. I will certainly be recommending these easy listening books to friends and family. My eldest has just started listening to book1 (aged 10)

Another mystery full of craziness

Enjoyed another one in this series. I liked how there is another wild aunt that Cen needs to rein in with freat effort. How she doesnt lose her cool with all the antics is beyond me. Loved the narrator’s different voices and it surely was enjoyable!

A light entertaining mystery

A fun and light mystery with humour. I enjoyed listening to this book. The mystery was really good. I want expecting the body count to be so high! An entertaining read. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reading audio copy.
