In the frost-kissed ambiance of wintry England, where snow blankets the landscape and a Christmas house party twinkles with festive cheer, fate orchestrates an enchanting love story. Lady Elizabeth Breckenridge, an epitome of grace with her golden locks and captivating cerulean eyes, steps into the seasonal revelry, her heart yearning for a love that has eluded her through two bustling social seasons.

Everett St. Giles, the Earl of Brookfield, a distinguished figure with raven-dark hair and piercing gray eyes that hold secrets untold exudes an air of mystery. However, when he lays eyes upon Lady Elizabeth amidst the holiday merriment, something inexplicable stirs within him—a sudden, unforeseen attraction that defies reason.

Their encounter, amid flickering candlelight and the festive allure of mistletoe, sparks an immediate connection that neither anticipated. In a whirlwind of shared laughter and stolen glances, Lady Elizabeth and Lord Brookfield find themselves irresistibly drawn to each other, swept up in a whirlwind of emotions that blossoms unexpectedly amidst the joyous Christmas festivities.

As the season of goodwill unfolds, their hearts entwine in an unexpected dance of affection. Will Lady Elizabeth and Lord Brookfield discover that amidst the magic of the holiday season, love can be the most wondrous gift of all?

If you’re craving a cozy, snow-dusted escape laced with elegance, mystery, and mistletoe kisses, this wintery audiobook is sure to satify. Set against the enchanting backdrop of a Christmas house party in the English countryside, this story offers all the charm of a classic Regency romance—complete with glittering candlelit halls, stolen glances, and hearts thawing in time with the season.

Lady Elizabeth Breckenridge is a heroine you can’t help but root for—graceful, intelligent, and just the right mix of hopeful and vulnerable as she enters her third season with romantic disappointment in her wake. When she crosses paths with Everett St. Giles, the brooding and enigmatic Earl of Brookfield, the chemistry is instant and irresistible. Their connection is believable and tender, unfolding naturally with the help of festive cheer, shared moments, and the kind of dialogue that sparkles as brightly as the holiday decor.

The narration does a lovely job of capturing the genteel charm of the era while layering in the emotional complexity of two guarded hearts learning to trust. The pacing is gentle but never dull, making this ideal for listeners who enjoy slow-burn romance with payoff that’s as satisfying as a warm cup of your favorite beverage on a snowy evening.

Part of the Fated for a Rogue series. Everett St. Giles, the Earl of Brookfield and Lady Elizabeth Breckenridge's story. A short novella story that is a engaging Christmas/Twelfth Night Regency Era England story. I enjoyed seeing their story come together and them gat a happy ending. Frankie Porter does a good job narrating this story.
