Jasper fears that when Jett discovers what a handful Charlotte is, he will realize he should have been careful what he wished for. However, Jasper does not have time to worry about that for long. Suddenly smitten with a mysterious woman, he jumps headlong into unforeseen trouble. Charlotte may be the only one who can get him out of it. This Christmas in Dovetail, the table turns, the snow falls, and true love, whether wished for or not, prevails. Jasper is called westward and Charlotte is westward wanted.

Great book

This was a funny yet romantic book. I think you will enjoy it too. It was charming and delightful.

I listened to this one on audio. The narration was great. The story itself was fantastic. I loved the plot and progress. The characters were well thought out. The writing was great. After reading this book, I want to go back and listen to the entire series.

Sweet

Winter Mail Order Bride: Charlotte’s Christmas is a sweet western romance. The storyline contains more than one budding relationship and the characters are interesting. A little more editing would go a long way, but this was still a good book.

I have so much praise for this book.

I have never read this author before. I tried this book because it had a winter theme. I had previously listened to a Leigh Greenwood novel. A wonderful western/Romance writer. I went from the Greenwood book to this one. Several chapters in I realized that I was still in the Greenwood mindset and had forgotten that I had changed author's. Humm, I thought, this author writes in a very simular style and does it very well. If you are familiar with Greenwood, you will realize that it is indeed high praise. I would recommend this book. It's a lovely story, even if the main female character is as rather a spoiled airhead. She fits with the time period.

Sweet Historical Romance

Wow! This was definitely a unique mail order bride book!! First the advertisement was bizarre. “Wanted: Bride”. And then the bride being willing to come with no further conversations besides her short reply that she would marry him. I almost didn’t finish the book because it was so outlandish.
But I’m glad I stuck with it! It was very funny at times!! These two very trusting people enjoy a wonderful marriage while a couple of the bride’s friends discover possibilities for their own futures!
The narration was very good. Maybe a few moments where her voice of narrating the book and the lead character didn’t change and one sentence that was unnecessarily repeated but it was a nice long book so it’s easy to overlook those small issues! I would enjoy future books from both the author and narrator!
